For those of you not old or bright enough to know for sure, the likes of Duran, Leonard, Hearns etc. are held in as high a regard as they are for a very good reason....they were truly great fighters. Floyd is a very good fighter, no question, but he has flattered to deceive his entire career, taking the safest and most profitable route he can.
He is a great salesman, that is borne out by the ridiculous and sycophantic praise he gets from those stupid enough to be taken in by his 'act'. He had a great talent, never realised it fully, but made a ton of cash in the process. Good luck to him, but dont try and tell anyone that has followed the sport long enough or really studied it enough to know what they're looking at that he beats truly brilliant fighters. That kind of bumsniffery is laughable and tragic in equal measure.
