I used to train with a guy that showed up on Lacys record a few times, Arthur Palac. He was just maybe 9 or 10 years old when he was coming down to Galaxy and he turned out to be an outstanding amatuer fighter. His dad is an excellent trainer and has trained a few of his sons to very good amatuer success.
This fight is a close call though and I have not picked a favorite yet.

I have met and have friendships with many of the great people in the sport. If there was one guy that I would want to meet I believe that it would be Battling Siki. If you dont know of him do some research, he seemed to be a very interesting guy.
I think that the best person that I have met in the game thus far has got to be Jackie Kallen. I saw her last Tuesday when she was speaking at Wayne State. She had sent somebody to get me tickets for the event. Of all of the people in the sport I would say that she is the most honest and trust worthy person in the game. I have never once heard anybody say that they were taken advantage of by Jackie. If she says that she will do something, you can be certain that she will keep her word to the best of her ability.
I shared an idea about promoting fighters with her and she thought that it was a great idea. She agreed to me using her name and image and also stated that she would like to help me with the project. I will be contacting more people in hopes of getting the project launched. This idea has a great deal of potential and is revolutionary to the boxing world. Wish me luck with it.
But again, Jackie is one in a million. A great woman with great vision and drive who only knows one way to go. That being straight forward towards her dreams and helping the ones that she loves attain their own.

Being tired during sparring is something that you need and have to learn to work through. Any good trainer will make his man keep fighting, as long as he is not absorbing excess punishment.
A huge part of new people being tired in the ring is nervous tension and being to tight, but the biggest thing that newbys have to condition is their mind. New people start to feel tired and they believe that they can not throw any more punches because their muscles are sending their brains messages of fatigue. But conditioning the mind to work past and through these messages will allow you to throw more pounches. Learn to control your mind and body, dont let it control you!
