Danny's too big for Mikey & can bang. I wouldn't write him off against little Mikey.
Agree, and he better NOT fight lomenchenko. that wouldn't be the smartest idea for the Garcia Camp. he needs to fight someone like Matthysse, Postol, or Peterson first.
Broner just needs to let his hands go it doesn't matter how hard he trains. That has been his problem even with ponce de Leon. Paulie almost beat him just off him being active.
The blue print is laid for broner. All you have to do is pressure him and that will stop all of his offense. Broner has all the tools and talent and speed to get the job done he is just not doing it.
I second that.
Huh?
Zlaticanin was #1 ranked at 135 by The Ring.
Burgos was #5 ranked at 130 by The Ring.
Martinez was ranked top 5 at 130 by The Ring.
Salido was ranked #1 at 126 by The Ring.
Lopez was ranked #6 at 126 by The Ring.
I'll give him Salido, he's tough but tiny . The rest of those guys are just paper ranked fighters and are no where near the Elite Skill level of guys like Lomenchenko, Crawford and Rigondeaux.
According to this guy, Adrien Broner is seriously considering firing Mike Stafford as his lead trainer.
That could be the one of the dumbest decisions he could ever make!
He leaves Coach Mike, he can say Goodbye to his Career. That man took kept him off the streets, cared for him like a father, Raushee Warren, Ricardo Williams, and Broner all lived with Coach Mike. She showed them boys everything they know and cared for them like his own. Broner will retire before leaving Coach Mike.
For the record, I do think Broner is above average (good) and I give Mikey Garcia credit for the way he easily handled him, he showed he's elite and he showed Broner, while above average, just isn't on that level of elite. But I don't think Broner is mediocre, or even a bad fighter like a lot of people say.
How do you consider mikey Elite when he hasn't beat anyone who is considered to be even in a top 10 of their division. Your claiming he proved to be Elite, when in fact he never even beat a Elite fighter, and Broner is no where near Elite at this moment.
Broner has the potential to be #1 at Jr welterweight and Welterweight But what hold him back is hismself. He doesn't take it serious enough point blank. I can't name a guy in the Welterweight division is has more natural talent and athleticism than Broner, he just chooses to let the lifestyle get to his head and he pays the price for it every time.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing broner fight Danny first both guys coming off losses and it's a fight fans have wanted to see for years and neither are beating the top WWs. Danny moved up from 140 and hasn't really done jack at 147. Won a bogus paper title against washed up Guerrero (how was that sanctioned for a title SMH), then beat up a washed up Paulie that was coming off a knockout destruction to Porter even Broner was able to beat a better version of Paulie 2 years earlier. Then beat a journey man bum Samuel Vargas. Lost his first and only fight against a top ranked Welterweight (thurman). That's Danny's resume at 147 which is garbage. He was proven at 140 but looked terrible his last few fights against 140lbers (Herrera flat out beat him, and Peterson win was debatable). His last quality win was 4 years ago against Matthysee.
Danny might be too big but that's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing at some point. But let Danny beat Broner.
Now someone making some sense.
I call BS.
Sources confirmed that It was NOT a Knockdown but a push/slip while sparring.
Pauli claimed he beat McGregors a$$ , while Conor claims it was the other way around.
Pauli then told McGregor "if you whooped my a$$, show the entire sparring session footage" which Conor WILL NOT do. Reason being Conor really got his a$$ handed to him!
I am saying Floyd should be fighting other boxers not MMA fighters and giving them a chance at a decent payday. What Is wrong with Floyd fighting Spence, Thurman, Crawford, Khan, Porter, Pacquiao? What has Mcgregor done In boxing to deserve a shot at Floyd?
This fool whether pay Conor Mcgregor than let Someone like Errol spence Jr, Keith Thurman, Terrence Crawford get that payday.
Man I can't stand Mayweather. He gone whoop Conor's ass but he is such as dickhead himself.
Boring Fight to watch. Adrien Broner didn't throw any punches for 10 straight rounds, and Mikey didn't do anything spectacular either but look beatable. He is too small for 147 imo, guys like Crawford, Thurman, Porter, and & Spence will run right through him. He has nice power at lightweight, didn't see anything at Jr Welterweight , and I know for a fact he won't be cracking at 147lbs.
Garcia is solid but very beatable at Jr Welterweight and Welterweight.
As for Broner, smh I'm disappointed, but I'm pretty sure he'll bounce back,... "sheesh he don't have a choice now."
He actually is the #1 guy at his weight, in effect. I find p4p meaningless and am not commenting on that; McGregor was a UFC champ at 145, didn't lose his title in the ring; went to 155 and won a title there (in his last fight), which he never lost in the ring. So, 145-155 (equivalent of Welter-Jr. Middle) he's effectively the #1 guy.
Were talking about a guy that got choked out by Nate Diaz.... where are you getting your facts?
Virgil Caine;McGregor was a UFC champ at 145, didn't lose his title in the ring; went to 155 and won a title there (in his last fight) which he never lost in the ring. So, 145-155 (equivalent of Welter-Jr. Middle) he's effectively the #1 guy.
If I'm not mistaken, you just stated that he never lost .
BTW i don't even know what a Red Karma Bar is, neither do i care about some red glow up bar.
And he would lose. Broner looked much bigger and Crawford would look HUGE. Reason why they have weight classes
You must be from the Queen City?I recognize your profile avatar picture is Adrien Broner as a kid and Olympic Silver medalist Ricardo Wiliams.
Rick was one of best I've ever seen out of city. **** Nuke and Twin and everybody else grew up in the gym learned from Rick.
He could avenge his loss against Salido, which I think would be easier for him second time around.
Miguel Berchelt is Solid but Lomos skill is on a whole different level.
Rigondeaux......pretty good timing, considering both Fighters are still in their prime. Good matchup, but I'm going with the experience of Rigondeaux, beating lomosnchenko by Majority Decison
