He could raise Emmanuel Steward and Cus D'Amato from the dead and it wouldn't make a difference if he won't dedicate himself to training and actually throw a punch every once in a while.
This^^^^^^^^^
He doesn't even listen to his current trainer, he won't listen to the next one either
Broner just needs to let his hands go it doesn't matter how hard he trains. That has been his problem even with ponce de Leon. Paulie almost beat him just off him being active.
The blue print is laid for broner. All you have to do is pressure him and that will stop all of his offense. Broner has all the tools and talent and speed to get the job done he is just not doing it.
I second that.

He needs to fire himself because only *****es put the blame on other people. His corner kept telling him to let his hands go and to punch more, but he was too afraid to let his hands go.
You can have the best trainer in the world, but it's worthless if you have a fighter who doesn't want to follow the game plan.
According to this guy, Adrien Broner is seriously considering firing Mike Stafford as his lead trainer.
That could be the one of the dumbest decisions he could ever make!
He leaves Coach Mike, he can say Goodbye to his Career. That man took kept him off the streets, cared for him like a father, Raushee Warren, Ricardo Williams, and Broner all lived with Coach Mike. She showed them boys everything they know and cared for them like his own. Broner will retire before leaving Coach Mike.
The issue is he doesn't respect Stafford at all.
Exactly.
I seen in training he told him to stop taking steps back to work and to make the opponent step back. Which is good advice cuz broner ain't a boxer he's a puncher. And in his losses he had he most success when he he stayed in the chest.
He told broner the truth in the fight but broner didn't listen and said "I got it" and then proceeded not to do ****. but shake his head and eye roll after getting punched on.
bromer needs a coach who's willing to knock him down off his ivisible pedestal.
In between one of the rounds his trainer yelled at him: "you said you wanted this mother****er, now show it!". I don't think his team wanted him to take this fight but he needed the money so he agreed to go to a lower weight.
Don't think its the trainer, he is who he is at this point.
He'll be a gate keeper like Zab Judah unless he does something really stupid and goes too jail for a long time.
would be a good move
stafford isnt a teacher
he is a trainer
and judging by how poor american amateurs been doing, he isnt effective with his amateur coaching either
that too.. but look at easter. He fights just like broner. Looks good when he lets his hands go but settles for pot shotting and countering
At least Easter is rangy though. He actually has an effective jab and straight right.
The issue is he doesn't respect Stafford at all.

Any trainer that wouldn't brush Broner's hair will be good. Instead Broner has to brush his trainer's hair. Pubs if they don't have any hair on their head like Virgil or mayweather sr.

Not a solid source. But yea it's overdue. Even if he won staffords style will never produce an elite fighter

Up until mid/late May, Broner was staying in Miami and partying every night. He just got some infusion of money which I'm sure he needed and he is going to be ready to live it up and blow it again. My point is that Broner is who he is and is not likely to change. He will continue to make the news, do and post things to get attention on social media, and probably get arrested, get someone else pregnant and get some lawsuits thrown at him. Boxing is only his priority when he needs money and he's not talented enough for that to be enough. He's done.
