Really? I don't see either of them going down so wouldn't bet on a TKO or KO. They are the best odds too for both to stay on their feet (7/4). Both of their chins are great.
For either to win by decision I got 8/11 which isn't that good... but I'm not looking to win hundreds! Just a few cheeky quid.
I read this interview with him today, and first and foremost I must say.. he is extremely articulate and a well spoken.

Did his mental illness prevent him from becoming a huge name in boxing? How much potential do people think he had? He was an absolute monster!
Sorry I've had to post the link to the website like that because it wasn't working
Firstly, I'm in the UK...
A student...
So when you join you need to post 40 times a day and do nothing else with your life?
I don't sit on my computer all day like u lot.. I joined up to browse and see some great boxing debates. Seems all you lot do is lambast every boxer to their very core though.
Great to see how you welcome new members.
What are all these trolls and HBO spies your on about?!!?! Sounds like geeky paranoia to me.
That's ridiculous.
So this is a worldwide boxing forum, with avid lovers and passionate posters, but no-one will post a link to a live feed incase I'm "HBO" tricking you into doing it.... then I will lock you up for 20 years??
Pleaseee. It's not like any of you are hosting the feed anyway.. just linking.
If anyone could be kind enough to even hint at where a feed would be, then I'm sure many (excuse the pun) would be appreciative. I don't want to have to go to bed, wake up at 9am and see the result on BBC News.
hopkins fought 6 p4p fighters in a row in his 40's and went 3-3. calzaghe fought 1 his entire career and got a controversial decision. how many fights will calzaghe even win when he hits forty? oh yea thats right zero. got any more testaments?
Great achievements by Hopkins I admit. But how do you think Joe would have faired against: Pavlik, Taylor, Winky and Tarver?
I'm certain Joe would come out of that string of fights still unbeaten.
I'm not going to sit here and simply state that Joe would have beaten them all, because at the end of the day he didn't fight them. It's very hard to argue the case of a man who hasn't got the record of beating top p4p fighters. But in the Lacy and the Kessler fight it was transparently clear that he dominated world class opposition and that man COULD have gone on to great things if it was 5 years earlier or even if he chose a more formidable opponent than old Roy Jones.
You cannot say anything against Calzaghe's unbeaten record as he did come up against some very tough guys (all be it a bit late in his career). Even though Lacy is a joke now he was unbeaten at the time and there was a lot of hype about him. Hopkins has proved to still be a world beater after the Calzaghe fight so that was a solid victory.
The Kessler victory is still a great feat seeing as no-one else has done it since.
I admit 100% that he slaps and I really don't see why his Dad hasn't coached him out of it because it looks appauling and wastes energy. But when he is boxing properly and has the desire that sets Joe above so many fighters - he is pretty much unmatchable. (Apart from prime Jones I would argue)
looks like u created an alt just to say this. u dont have to be that ashamed of calzaghe. haha jk anywhoooo i think calzaghe is good but would have been whooped by 2000 - 2003 version of hopkins and of course a prime roy.
Not whooped, thats a lie. But even if we would have been beaten by prime Jones (not sure about prime Bhop), he is still a p4p great of our time. And it is a huge testament to him that he was fighting and winning at 36, which is more than can be said about Jones's and Bernard's 5 losses.
Cannot believe how much he balloons in weight, in that foote shirt he looked ginormous. I can't think of any other professional boxer that does it in between nearly every fight.
As a professional athlete, I don't see why he lets himself get that big, it is disgusting. I'm a semi professional sprinter and when I'm injured I do everything I can to maintain a good weight so that training is easier when I return, but also just for my appearance!
Come on Hatton son!
He has an addictive affect on us british fans.. even though I saw him get KO'd by Pac and schooled by Floyd I still want him to have another crack because he probably feels like he is a failed boxer when all he has done is lost to the two best p4p out there right now...
No shame in that at all.
Probably not the best plan for him in fighting terms because its 99% another whooping, but he feels he has to prove himself one last time against a big dog.
My god the abuse flying around to fighters on here is disgusting. Hatton has a sizzling career up until he fights the two best p4p and loses and now all of a sudden he is a worthless bum who might get knocked out by Diaz?!
His weight aside (which is a joke), he cannot be lambasted like this and written off. After the Mayweather loss he still convincingly beat up Lazcano and Malignaggi so he is hardly a broken fighter like so many are suggesting.
