Too many to choose from, but I would have to go with Tyson Botha.
But my favorite knockdown on TV had to be Brinkley popping Bonsante in the jaw and watching in slow motion his jaw shifting, sorry guys I actually liked the contender show.
If the Pinoys on here are reflective of real life Pacq fans, they're not bad at all. Very respectful.
This is true. I myself am Filipino and I never boo the opposing boxer. I only cheer for the one I like. I feel that if fans are booing the opposing fighter it is just revealing how big a threat he is to his opponent.
you can say whatever you feel like now, but Tarver could NEVER stand in a ring with a prime Roy Jones. now thats truth.
Prime?
Dude there is no huge age difference. Tarver is 2 months older than Jones.
Tarver just got a late start in his pro career.
No excuses.
yeah, ruiz isn't gonna swell up peter's face...
I think Ruiz would kiss him before making his face swell with all the clinching. To me clinching 1-5 times a round is cool but when its every other second it's more like a gay hug.
I think RJJ would be smarter in this fight and not take anything for granted. But Tarver's speed and range may overwhelm RJJ again. This should be a good one. RJJ could surprise everyone and KO Tarver, you never know. Tarver's cockiness and attitude/anger could be his downfall in the long run. But like I said, you never know.
how did you score it Mora being the victor, were you even watching the fight at all?
Peter clearly dominated that fight, Sergio is lucky the Ref didn't stop the fight after the 3rd round when his cut got a whole lot bigger. That cut was almost the length of his eyebrow.
Head gear in professional boxing? Who would pay to see that. Boxing is entertainment first, sport second, lets get that clear.
If we do have headgear in the pro circuit then we need to have also a tag-team boxing match.......wait that sounds interesting. Hmmmmmmmm.
Would you guys watch a tag-team boxing match? Of course the winning team would be the boxer left standing. Both members of the team must be defeated for the other team to win.
Sorry I'm bored at work. :D
It has been a year of upsets. As we have just confirmed last Saturday's Morales Loss. Please post what you think is this years upset of the year. Here are mine. (In order)
1.Raheem def. Morales
2.Hatton def. Tszyu
3.Taylor def. Hopkins
4.McBride def. Tyson
I will not put Winky on the list because I was rooting for Winky to win that fight eversince.
I don't really consider McBride winning since Tyson didn't want to come out for the 7th round and then announces his retirement.
