Hopkins vs Eubank
Hopkins vs Toney
Hopkins vs Benn
Hopkins vs Mcclellan
Hopkins vs Collins
Hopkins vs Calzaghe
Hopkins vs Jones
Seriously, the "living legend" in his prime would be lucky to win against 2 of these guys who were all around in his era. What do you think?
I posted this on another board, just wondering what you think.
B Hop beats all but Toney v Hopkins is a pick em fight
His performances in his fights from de la hoya to Taylor i wouldn't call prime.
Having all the titles and being number 1 P4P doesn't change the fact that physically he wasn't in his prime.
this is true Nard was not an Elite fighter at this point he was still very good but no longer Elite
a prime Hopkins would of knocked JT out in 8 rounds
i DONT know bout that cuz remember its 154, Roy would have 2 dehydrate alot...we saw da last time he tried that (no diss 2 Roy)
yes he was on the canvas with little birds flying around his head
Nah, you can say that RJJ is a better athlete but overall Mayweather is the better fighter. Roy depends on his speed and reflxes to avoid getting hit...he never really had a D. Notice, how recently he started putting his hands up. P4P Mayweather beats RJJ.
agreed Floyd is the best technically sound fighter EVER and one of the most complete fighters ever
I'm sorry, but you need to look in the mirror. You go on all the time about some Calzaghe fans being ridiculous with their spin on his career and rightly so, but you've just done the same with Tyson.
The reason Tyson started losing was because he dropped Rooney as his trainer and started neglecting the basics to head hunt. His lifestyle just got to his head. Tyson should be considered no higher than Naseem Hamed; both were exciting dominant champions for a short period and then got arrogant, throwing away everything they had. The only difference is that Tyson staggered on beating bums and being easily beaten by world class fighters. Neither one beat a world class fighter.
Tyson was beat by better fighters simple as that Lewis and Holyfield would have beaten him at any stage of his career
Buster Douglas probably not but who knows
he got beaten by Holyfield because Holyfield was a better fighter and Lewis would have beaten him at any stage anyway
Roy jones and mayweather both arnt as good as calzaghe
calzaghe is unbeaten, but to tried and tested champions unlike mayweather
jones has a glass chin and clazaghe is going to hurt him bad on november
LOL @ the guy that thinks Joke C is better than Floyd he is not even as good as Jones
most intelligent yes he knew Vitali Klitschko was going beat hiss as in a rematch and he understood that claiming he was a Brit would make him plenty of $$$$$$
i gave you a red becasue your avatar is so homo
Jones was never legitimately beaten in his prime, & fought superior opp. than did Tyson.
yeah you gave me red k because u cant handle the fact Jones was a myth
Jones was never beaten in his prime because he was to busy fighting policemen and postmen he got KTFO twice in his career he was a myth
Tarver hit him with such a sweet punch, glass jaw nothin, great punch.
Second example is sheer chandelier.
what do you know Charlie you bum
what do you know about Boxing except getting KTFO by a cracka
who has a 1-100 record :lol1:
Yea Hopkins fights are very exciting to watch!!!!!!!!!!
ive been a fan of his for years you idiot i dont expect a 40 year old to fight at Gatti's pace
i agree James Toney is shit
James Toney is finished now yes
the division still stinks and if Ibragimov can win a title and Klit can dominate then anyone can win a belt at HW
i can see him beating guys like Rahman, Maskaev but when comes to the real fighters in the division i think he will lose
real fighters like Tony Thompson ,Ibragimov :lol1: there is no real fighters in the whole division
I'm guessing you don't like Jones.
i dont mind him its all the Jones fans that act like children giving me red k because i think Floyd would beat him its just my opinion
they cant handle it so they red k me WTF

Won 39 (KO 30) + lost 5* (KO 1)
*Every last one of his losses were controversial. Besides the loss going up to middleweight to fight p4p#1 Bernard Hopkins.
At the end of the day you know what you get from Oscar. I never understand people who like these fighters who "Leave more questions than answers". They will take 2 wins over bums against 1 fight against another great.

What other Eric Lucas fight did you watch outside of the one with Roy? Eric had a decent career. He was far from a can. Lucas was better than Carlos Baldomir.
Anyway, Tarver knocked him out, yes. Like I said before, lets see where Floyd is in 2012 when he's 35. You think he'll fight the #1 guy in the division? I doubt it.
LMAOOO!
He looked excellent in that fight? Were you high? Hell, if you were high, it would have been more clear to you how bad Floyd looked in that fight.
Floyd nearly QUIT on his stool. I remember him crying to Roger in the corner about his hand. Roger had to tell him to SUCK IT UP. Floyd was bleeding badly from both nostrils and his face was swollen.
Floyd's offense looked good in that fight, but he got LIT THE FUKK UP! To this date, Floyd still says Burton was his toughest fight. To this date!
I wonder why....
Lucas was a complete can he beat nobody you dont know what you are watching if you think Lucas was a good SMW :lol1:
what fight were you watching Floyd won every round and showed his long and short game he out punched Burton out speeded him showed superior footwork everything he boxed & beat Burton up :lol1:
you must of been watching a different fight to the Burton fight Burton was hammered the only time i can remember Floyd showing real discomfort in a fight was against Carlos Hernandez when he did hurt his hand and he was complaining in the corner to Roger
barrera, morales, and freitas were not boring and guess who ducked them?.... flash style flashy
Floyd would have tamed MAB with ease
Morales and freitas would of quit :lol1: :lol1:
