Must just be me that wants too see Junior get knocked out then and not Bradley:boxing:
nope, me too, and I'm British.
I hope Junior comes out all guns blazing to impress the watching US media and gets caught flush in the middle rounds.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Junior may have to change his nickname now I reckon, what else rhymes with 'Witter'? hmmm....
Bradley, proof that American 'Christians' are insane, kinda in a good way though in his case for comedy value alone. Thought he spoke very well after the fight though, very accurately. Would like to see him fight Torres next & hopefully one day (IF Hatton eventually beats Paulie) Bradley will get the payday Junior's been 'Wittering' on about for years. Although if that actually happened I would probably die laughing.
Is it wrong that even a thread with jovial remarks about Ottke infuriates me?
Biggest all round cheat of all time in my opinion, mainly because his team, the ref, and the judges were always in on it too. I remember watching Robin Reid getting points taken off for punching Ottke in the face. Disgraceful.
On US soil BHop blows him out in 5
if Ottke had home advantage I'd expect a mid round DQ for non-existant low blows, in favour of Sven naturally.
Can I say, as a Brit, I do hate it when Yanks hate on British boxing for no apparent reason, but am in no way jumping on the bandwagon for that guys incoherrent babblings, he's a walking contradiction from the off with Cotto in his avatar.
And "Two words - Amir Kahn"??! - Could've said Ricky Hatton, David Haye, Joe Calzaghe, hell even Lennox Lewis (even Frank fuckin Bruno compared to where Kahn's at right now).
The size of the US in comparison to Britain means mathematically more top class fighters will come from the US, there's no denying that. But calling it shit without any validating facts is wrong, and vice versa of course.
Hope he hasn't lost his taste for the game, cos even as a massive Calzaghe fan I had alot of respect for Kessler in going to Wales & taking the fight to Joe, and honestly thought he was the man to take the SMW division to the next level. I hope that's still the case.
Even as a big Hatton fan, I've gotta say that I think Hatton/PBF II would be more exciting as a spectacle but less exciting as a contest. I give Oscar a much bigger chance than Ricky to beat Floyd (which is bigger than Ricky's 0%) - although a Wembley showdown with a roughhouse cockney ref could see Hatton shade it if he can stay on his feet, that wouldn't be fair, and would be horrible to watch.
I gave their first fight to Oscar by 1 round when I watched it first time round (drunk) and then to Floyd by one round when I re-watched it (sober).
