he always looks strong in the early rounds but his power diminishes as he starts to tire, it has been as early as the 4th round. If he dropped a bit of muscle and improved his stamina he would be unstoppable, at the moment he is beatable... Will it be Parker? It's possible.
Parker will surely eat a humble pie after AJ had whooped him.
If Parker could not knocked out Hughie Fury, what makes him think he can knockout AJ ?
Its good he is hyping the fight.
Casual comment. Fury was back peddling all night, Joshua is right square in front.
Higgins is a quirky character trying to make a name for himself in the boxing world. He says some pretty out there **** but people are taking note and that is good for Parker who doesn't have the profile of a Joshua or Wilder. I think Parker will hold his own in this fight, he knows he won't get a points win in this fight even if he look's the better fighter. He will be coming in fitter, faster and more mobile then anyone Joshua has faced. He Will be aggressive and busy and work to tire Joshua out, make him gas and hopefully finish him. If not points win to Joshua, i can't see Parker getting hit flush too many times.
Parker to bring the spoils. All the talk of Wilder and Fury from team Joshua will back fire. concentrate on what is in front of you because it's coming fitter, faster, confident and with a point to prove. Parker by K.O middle rounds after Joshua gases and is blowing through his arse.
Very nice and all but only brain dead casuals are gonna believe Parker is a top 10 fighter. This is a nothing fight to the serious boxing fan.
Don't get me wrong, i don't knock Joshua and Heran for making it. This fight is an elite operator against a stool pigeon. Takam actually beat Parker easily enough but just wasn't the 'hometown' fighter. A nothing, unproven fighter that is Hugey Furey boxed big pumped up o gear and nothing else Parker's ears off while barely getting hit. IMAGINE WHAT THE REAL FURY WOULD HAVE DONE?! There's more to taking gear than looking good in A mirror. Parker is still stiff as a board. Tyson could dance around him while having a wank to vintage Lusardi.
Amateur comments right here!! Takam did not beat Parker you just saw what you wanted to see. As for Hughie Fury lets just say thank **** there is only one of him, aweful style for a guy like Parker. He knew Parker would K.O him and his only chance was to dance around and try land, unfortunately jabbing into thin air doesn't win you fights. I'm also interested in the 10+ guys you put in front of the unbeaten WBO champ???
This is a cupcake fight, only drunk, dancing Brits are interested in this mismatch, who really cares about this fight, Parker is irrelevant in the heavyweight division, I never seen this guy fight, stop it with this fraud fight
'I never seen this guy fight' get the **** out of here.
Parker has the skill to foot it with Joshua. From all accounts he will be coming in fitter then ever, he will have to be and fight a faultless game plan to get past Joshua. I also see Joshua's weight as his biggest weakness, he has slowed drastically over the last couple of years and his stamina is very questionable. If Parker can take the power and keep Joshua busy that will be his best bet, he will gas if he doesn't come in lighter for Parker.
I’m sure the fat bag head pikey will get him in tip top shape for Joshua
Fury is well known for his work ethic
Its not the work in the ring but the work on the game plan that will be important, you can't buy experience.Whatever you say Tyson Fury is a tactically smart boxer.
love how most people think Parker is ****. The youngest of the three champs and faced better opponents then Wilder and Joshua if you take old man Wlad out of the equation, even Wlad at 41 years old was a shadow of his former self. Joshua has never faced a guy as quick as Parker who backs his chin. Parker will be a lot busier then Wlad too, Joshua better work on his cardio rather then his muscles otherwise its goodnight and goodbye belts because we all know he can be put on his arse even by 16OZ gloves. Parker by K.O around middle rounds.
Joshua on PEDs is ridiculous too, he must get tested every other week. I can't work out why he continues too put on bulk tho, he looked way more deadly about three years ago, he has sacrificed a lot of speed for power.
I predict a UD from AJ,the ref won't be paid to stop it early this time. Parker has ZERO chance of knocking AJ down/out whatsoever so hes a straight retard if he believes that bs. Besides Ruiz should be the one fighting anyways as hes the RIGHTFUL wbo champ...
Ruiz? You should re watch the fight with neutral eyes you will see it different.
On recent performances Joshua is the favourite but come on Parker is no bum like a lot of people on here think he is. Joshua has plenty of weaknesses its just a matter if Parker turns up in the shape of his life and can exploit them.
Parker is definitely being underrated here, but... he doesn't have very good speed. He did have very good speed until he put on too much weight and his trainer has acknowledged this; the trouble is Joshua's trainer has also acknowledged the same with regards to Joshua and he too is apparently slimming down (recent video showed him at 240pounds) so i'm not too sure speed is going to be that much of a factor. If Joshua still comes in at around 250 whilst Parker has slimmed down it can definitely be a factor, but honestly i'd expect that Joshua will come in around the same weight he did against Breazeale.
Both fighters weights will be crucial with regards to how this fight goes as obviously if Parker comes in light and Joshua doesnt he should be able to move in and out of range to jab and frustrate Joshua, else Joshua has a 6inch reach advantage which is more than enough to take Parker's jab away from him.
You know what you are talking about, it seems rare around here.
Joshua Vs Parker is a good style match up for sure. Parker has said he will drop weight to try regain some speed he lost in the extra pounds he took into the Fury fight. I feel Joshua may do the same as Parker will be the quickest puncher he has come up against,Joshua will have to be a lot more mobile. Joshua is favourite of course but I feel Parker will know boxing conservative like he did against Ruiz will not see him win, he will risk getting K.O rather then fight that way...he won't get a points win that is for sure, all or nothing for Parker hoping Joshua gases.
Nah, Parker couldn't rock his last 4 or 5 opponents... He is average.
Hard to rock someone
if they are running and not wanting to engage like Fury, awful style for Parker too. Ruiz has a great chin, never been down. Cojanu is 6ft 8" and fought very cynical with defence up all night, smaller guy will always struggle to knock someone out who doesn't create any openings, he sparred 50+ rounds with Parker too he knew what he could do. He rocked Takam in the 8th and should have K.O him, inexperience cost him that finish. Dimitrenko he put down 4 or 5 times. He can knock Joshua, like I said he has enough power.
Why would you compare him to Tua, because they are both Samoan and come from New Zealand? Parker has the ability to be a lot better than Tua, he is still young at only 25 the youngest of the champions. If Parker turns up in the best shape of his life he can beat Joshua, he backs his chin and has speed Joshua hasn't encountered before. Should be a cracker of a fight.
Every heavyweight feels confident after seeing Old Man Klitschko knock Joshua on his behind. Parker will probably fail because he's a poor man's Tua with no special abilities. But make no mistake, soon enough, Joshua is going down, and he's going down hard.
If you believe that Parker is going to be a competitive fight with AJ, then yes, you're in for a shock. It will be one-sided.
Ruiz stopped throwing punches pretty much after 4 rounds. He ran out of gas. You must have seen a completely different fight to the one I watched.
Take your rose tinted glasses off. Joshua is not god, he can be defeated and it will come via a perceived heavy under dog looking to prove a point.
A.j-parker will be just like A.j-whyte..parker's gonna take some shellacking big time..he will be fighting on his backfoot occasionally trying to land shots or catch A.j..he will show heart but at the end of the day..his chin is going to give out from repeated power punches much like with dillian whyte
Whyte is slow and sloppy and he managed to rock Joshua. Parker will be at his best for this, very tough fight but he has the skill and enough power to win if he manages to catch him good.
Parker has no power to rock Joshua at all... Razvan Cojanu already confirmed it...
He has more Power then Whyte and he rocked him. Price, Dubois, Okolie all dropped him with big gloves. Parker has enough power to finish the job.
So AJ going down but getting back up to win the fight is folding in your eyes?
Then **** your eyes as that is the complete opposite.
Nothing more needs to be said here.
Plenty of fighters have gotten up, they do give you to 10 you do know that right? Wlad didn't finish the job like my previous comment said. Thanks and goodnight.
What is Parker on about? He's going to go on the back-foot right from the off and try stay out of trouble until the later rounds when hopefully Joshua has run out of steam and then try and finish him.
Trust me, that's what Parker will do. That's his plan.
Fear not though, because Joshua is going to grind him down just like he did with Brezeale. Parker will end up taking a beating before being stopped around the 8th round.
No he won't be off the back foot he is taking it to him. Why wouldn't he knowing Joshua has dodgy whiskers and poor stamina. When Joshua is put under pressure and can't dictate he folds. And don't bring up the Wlad fight either the old man let him off the hook BIG TIME!!!!!
