I want to see who you guys think are viable candidates for fighter of the decade. They must have turned pro no later then 2010. My first choice would have to be Andre ward based on his résumé , skill set, and possibility of him losing anytime soon is real slim. Your thoughts boxing heads

I can see it now 10 even 20 years from now, people with the fantasy match ups . And the "why Floyd never fought PAC" threads,. Is his name almost synonomous with boxing for eternity? I honestly don't see Floyd as even top 50 all time fighters. How can he be when he never face the best fighters in their prime in his era.

imo opinion if sergio wants to capture the p4p crown he has to move up and fight at 168 hes coming into the ring at 170 plus so he will still have his speed and power. i think maravilla beats dirrell,froch and bute. andre ward will probably be to much to handle tho

The last few weeks I've come on here and seen numerous threads for cotto and a supposed opponent "in play" or "close to" making a fight . Wdf is up is it K9 ,mayorga,margarito,sergio,berto .. like come on ain't you guys supposed to have all the inside info. In his two biggest fights of his career , first his fight against a highly touted puncher in edison miranda and then to undefeated Wba SMW champ Andre Ward . In the Miranda fight it seemed as if he was nervous or something was up because if you remember he kept looking down at his feet and never was really in that fight aside from. Knockdown he scored in the 8th round. After the fight he said something to the effect of he wasn't 100% due to some illness he didn't care to disclose. Leading up to the Ward fight he really talked a good one ,if fights were won on just pure confidence and pre-fight machismo Green would be undefeated. This fight he just seemed reluctant to engage or throw any punches with intent to do damage he really just looked like a confused man and a Deer in the Headlights; if you will. This has to make you wonder does he has some sort of stage fight and just freezes up when the bright lights are on ?

Was just going over a few fighters resumes and noticed Oscar never fought anyone with a losing record , that is something fighters like Floyd,shane,pac and a few others cannot say .

In Jean pascal's 4th pro fight he fought a guy with a 13-165-5 record I believe the guy's name was jonnie penelton Can you think of any other boxer with a worse record?
