Canelo definitely has unexpected hand speed in close quarters, thats because of his short stumpy arms.. Floyd isnt stupid, he knows this.. Id say canelo has good power, not great..
Canelos biggest issues vs floyd is gonna be his poor stamina and mediocre jab..
Floyd is gonna potshot amd dance all night.. Losing 14lbs in a month isnt going to be fun, especially when your already in tip top shape. Theres no doubt hes gonna be drained and hes trying to lose weight as we speak.. While Floyd basically is sharpening his skills 95% of camp.
Yes Floydie adjusts his game plan to the other fighter, we all know that. The difference here is, this is the best guy he's faced since he's been in the driver seat being able to line up whoever he wants to fight. This is as close as the Ducker getting caught in his own web as we will see. Canelo has shown great improvement in recent fights. The defense he showed vs Trout was excellent. And from what I've read, they have a strength and conditioning coach in camp for him now. So maybe the stamina issues will not be as much. All I'm saying is, it looks like this has the best chance of being a serious challenge for Floydie for once. Sugar Ray Robinson never ducked anyone. It's the reason why he didn't retire undefeated. Floydie has blabbered til the cows come home, just to try to convince everyone he isn't ducking. I'm not fooled. Obviously a lotta Floydie Fanboys ARE fooled. I'm looking forward to this matchup more than any in recent years.
So when Floyd wins 10 rounds out of 12, are you gonna say Canelo was cherry picked? Too young? Or some other excuse? Youre a joke.. One thing for sure, you wont give Floyd credit
