Ok, so I cannot for the life of me find a source of Hal Adonis' comments.
What I can find, is a source from USA boxing that Hal Adonis was removed on June 4, 2012: .
What's confusing is the e-mail I received states that the reason is because he was not removed!
If you box in a strictly boxing gym, I imagine that your sparring will be affected, and maybe even hitting the bag will be affected. I am not an expert in this area of law but I suppose it depends on the waiver that you signed with your gym. If you are a gym that doesn't have waivers, well then close the doors I guess?
If you box in an MMA gym, it is my guess that they are covered in another way. The gym I box at is an MMA gym, but with an amateur boxing competition team. So while we are all registered with amateur boxing.....we most likely can spar under the guise of MMA training...
CHECK THAT: HE was removed as president, not as a board member, which is the reason for the sanctions.
