Could very well be the end of PICK EM, unless we seek alternate avenues. Who knows what's going to happen.
I can easily create a new forum and host it if there was enough interest, but somehow I think only a few people would join.
I guess we wait and see what happens...
Why isn't anyone mentioning the very obvious elephant in the room about sanchez this weekend
If you're talking about The Juice, it has been mentioned several times over.
Torrez still made a dumb mistake dipping down like that. He really ought to work on that.
I'd recommend a x3 to take the overall lead
I'm debating. Losing to one-note Nick Ball (even though I thought Ford won) is a variable that's gnawing at me.
Get back to me when you do i gave 3 rounds overall to Rico and that was the 6th 8th and 9th
I rewatched.
Going into the KO round, I had it 6-4, Usyk.
Rico was swarming but smothering a lot of his own punches. Usyk was blocking and countering far more often.
A close, competitive fight, but now that the dust has settled, it's clearer to see that Usyk did what he needed to.
Premature stoppage? Perhaps, but Usyk was nicking it.
I would NOT mind a rematch at all. Rico can hang and he made a fan out of me.
you should all go and rewatch the fight as i was fooled last night in the madness
I plan to, because even without all the real-time hoopla and "controversy," it was a very fun fight and I owe Rico an apology for thinking he'd be a pushover. He made it competitive and opened up hell's gate for Usyk more than once, which is the mark of a good match.
Usyk is clearly getting older and it showed, but he's still a wizard even when operating at half capacity.
I was rooting for Torrez from the get go, but ducking the way he did in front of Sanchez' right was just careless.
I hope he can bounce back, but that was a chin check from hell.
