but before he retired he fought a washed up corpse of a fighter in roy jones who nobody except insane nuthuggers gave a decent chance of being close to having a shot at any top fighter in the division. he fought him before he retired even though alot of ppl including myself felt he lost the BHop fight. so why did he not take it? imo he lost, got lucky on the decision and didnt want to lose his 0 in a rematch, cuz lets face it. thats pretty much all there is to his so called "legacy".
lol dude does NOT have a legacy. When he begins to fight at different weight classes and collide with real fighters (american fighters) such as Jermain taylor, chad dawson, kelly pavilik (etc) with no losses, then he could be called a "legend"
I call the calzaghe win over jones a marciano vs joe louse of this era.. marciano knocked out an old washed up Louise ..
I won't last long? wtf that does mean lol
I think Glen Johnson would even whoop Calzaghe's arse lol and if hopkins and johnson can fight beyond their primes im sure Calzaghe still has a few years left. Hopkins is about ten years his senior and won't give him a rematch, i call that sad.. yet you're referencing age here? c'maan!
A ban, eventually someone will report your sad attempts at bait threads. It doesn't get much more pathetic than trolling a forum.
You resort to ad hominem's.. you're truly the sad one. Goodbye.:bottle:
When he fights class A fighters. When he fights B- fighters he for some reason dominates.
I believe it depends on on who ur fighting so agreed.. Prescott has lanky arms that hit like sledge hammers.. just take a look @ the guys record lol
He's from Bolton you idiot.
And no they hate him because he gets world title shots he doesn't deserve and he's ducked the best British fighters in his weight division.
If you can't reply in a mature manner then gtfo.. and he's pakistani by ethnicity with a british nationality.. i don't much about him but hes fighting the top fighters right now, i dont think hes ducking anyone.. you cant duck fighters in this business/sport especially if ur an up and coming fighter.. otherwise you will never progress so wat ur saying makes no sense, hes fighting kotelnik and wants a rematch with prescott..
Do I create ALTs and bait threads to get a rise out of people? If I did then I would be sad.
It's a legitimate question that i wanted to ask.
I think you're just mad im downing your idol..
here's to your idol boss "peeleft:
As for him having a weak chin, i just think the colombian dude is a heavy hitter. He took a lot of shots from him before landing on the canvas.. i wouldn't say he has a glass chin at all, but his chin is yet to be tested. I'm not sure at this moment how good of a chin he has but i wouldn't say it's weak either.
I've been watching more and more of khans fights, he needs more experience no doubt. His style is so unorthodox, and his balance is off a lot of the times .. hope he gained something from roach.. his chin isn't that bad but its not strong either. I maybe it can improve.. his punching power isn't that reat either. Its his speed and his eagerness to fightt that makes him what he is..
Sorry but Khan has a weak chin, He was rocked by prescott's Jab in the first 11 seconds of the fight, He went straight into prescott's face like he was fighting a bum and he got KO because of that, I think he has learn a lot from that fight and he has moved training camp to Roach's gym and am glad he has done that because he would improve better and faster that way.
I would have to disagree,i think prescott is a strong kid, enuff said.
Definately respect this kid, from the same part of the homeland im from as well, and we tend to be very big on revenge, its just in our blood. So i'm not surprised he's vouching for a rematch, i would definately follow up on it. I haven't watched one Amir Khan fight as of yet but im def. a fan now, look forward to seeing more of him in the near future.
