He's exciting but i don't see me shelling out $60-70 to watch a guy who has technically lost his last 2 fights 1 by VICIOUS KO. I guess there's enough suckers out there willing to pay for this. I wont be one of them. Sad that this is what HBO has to pass off as a PPV event now a days. They at least better stack the card.
Mayweather would be a fool if he tries to play the "A side" card too hard. Its like May vs Pac all over again. McGregor is a draw on his own and Floyd's last ppv did horrible numbers. I think it's a horrible fight as far as competitiveness but it will sell and lots of money is up for grabs a 60-40 or at worst 65-35 split makes both these guys tons of money. I don't think the UFC will let Connor take any less and i don't think they should.

Floyd has always relied on his speed and legs to win, sadly for him he is a step slower than he once was. Robert isn't the most physically gifted fighter but he's one mean SOB.Unless i'm completely wrong and Floyd is able to move like he did 3 or 4 years ago(i don't think he will) I see Robert giving Floyd a beating like he's never taken before. This fight is garbage, Matthysse is an over rated light welterweight and Pacquiao is over the hill. Anyways this is a garbage fight, it means nothing in the WW division. Maybe Pacquiao could give Thurman(WBA super champ) a run for his money but the winner aint going to fight him anyways so this fight is a complete waste of time. Pac by TKO in 8th. Also i wont be watching.

The Garcia vs Davis fight is the most logical fight for both guys. A good step up in competition for both fighters, Probably the biggest money fight that can be made for either guy. Also they would be preparing to fight the best guys in the Division in either Teo or Haney both of whom, I believe beat Garcia and Davis right now. Sucks for Haney though cause I don't think Arum will let Teo vs Haney take place. I actually see Teo moving up to 140 unless a fight with Davis or Garcia can get made, both are $$$ fights. Maybe Belchert will come up and try to get in the mix at 135 that's really the only chance Haney has at fighting some top opposition in the near future.
Garcia proved he's the real deal. His speed and power will give anyone problems at 135. He needs to work on his foot work and defense but he has the intangibles. You can't teach heart and determination he proved to have both. Even though he got dropped, he has a decent chin cause that left hand was flush and he reacted to it well enough.

As a boxing fan and chronic insomniac, I love nights like Saturday, I'll watch a great fight in Crawford vs Porter live then watch the Boo Boo replay to get some great sleep. It was a masterful performance by Ioka. He boxed beautifully and kept landing solid, clean shots. Tanaka was hurt by his over confidence, he thought that his relentless aggression would wilt Ioka, it didn't. I tuned in live at the end of round 6 (on a YT stream so it wasn't the best quality) and it seemed like Tanaka's constant pressure would get to Ioka, then the KO in round 8 seemed premature at the time. After watching the replay I was able to see Ioka was dodging/blocking/rolling with most punches while landing clean solid shots of his own. The ref probably saved the kid's career cause he seemed game to continue which could have gotten him seriously hurt. Ioka vs Estrada would be a Hella of a fight I hope 2021 delivers it.

I think unifications/undisputed should be what every fighter strives for. Unifications should be allowed to take precedence over mandatories. At that point you got 2 guys that both have a claim at the unified champ, who should be 1st up? Why is 1 guy more important than the other? So if fighter A gets the fight that means fighter B probably has to wait a year before his shot so no matter what someone is getting screwed. Now if they can fight each other they stay active and winner is guaranteed chance at 2 belts instead of one.

This was the worst scored fight all year and there's been some ****ty calls already. When i first heard 98-92 and 97-93, I was like wow guess that CJ Ross card actually did something to put the judges on the spotlight and make them correctly judge a fight. Only fight that matters is Spence vs Crawford. I think Spence wins cause a good big man beats a good smaller man. I think Thurman, Garcia and porter a level below those 2. Btw Thurman has been the biggest disappointment since he became a champ went from ONE TIME to RUN TIME.

His camp knows he's not ready for Haney. They won't make that fight until they think he can win. I don't blame them for that. He's working his way up to that fight, Davis is a step closer in getting him ready for Haney not to mention all the money that can be made.
