The problem with Zuffa is it's on Paramount+ and no-one is going to pay for that sh@*. Even if 90% of people in the US and West weren't struggling financially, which they are, and we were in a boom period, peeps still wouldn't subscribe to Paramount. It's the worst of all the streaming services.
In the article picture you can see Fury looks r£tarded from his side profile. I think that is the answer to all of his strange behaviour and weirdness; he's a r#tard hiding in plain sight. His brain is compromised, he's one step away from his wife having to put his socks on for him in the morning and wiping his ass after a dump.
Fury would only be the hardest because he's the best 'spoiler' in the game right now, awful to watch and with no power. A 6'9 giant with no punching power and a body like a grandad.
So please, stop conflating a fighter being hard to beat with said fighter being 'the best'. He's not the best by a long stretch as HW boxing is about knockouts and offense, not just defence and spoiling.
We saw an example of Fury's huge offensive flaw against Wallin where the gypsy could barely hurt a Euro punch bag over 12-rounds.
If anyone think's Fury is the best, try watching his last 5-6 fights, you'd be bored to tears.
It looked fixed to me, seriously.
Like a light sparring session on Kov's side where most of the jabs were just tapping Canelo's gloves.
Despicable, I'm watching more and more MMA the way boxing is going. Cheat Canelo is destroying the sport for sure.
How galling, they're looking at 'May', so Joshua doing the 2-fight per year thing if we're lucky at 30 yrs old. He started this cadence when he was in his late twenties ffs. He's only had 23 fights. TWENTY THREE.
If you want any evidence that AJ is a product or a money-making asset rather than fighter, this is it. 2 fights per year against people he should be knocking out (Miller was a joke, Pulev or Whyte pose no threat whatsoever). So he's being protected, so he can continue to rake in money for Hearn and the rest of the cronies. Minimum effort/risk for maximum return and money raked from the fans.
Contrast this with Wilder. He's gonna be fighting 3 times in the space of 12 months vs Brezeale, Ortiz and then Fury. Even tho Fury is s drugs cheat, them last two are far more dangerous opponents than the safe bets AJ is banking.
Honestly, Usyk's skill level makes any of the top heavyweights look like pub brawlers, he's so far ahead of them in movement, ring IQ, stamina, accuracy etc. I'm starting to think that he has the ability to make Joshua look silly in a HW bout. He could move and jab and gas Joshua out and then take him apart. Joshua's stamina is pathetic.
Also, his last fight was against one hell of a puncher in Gassiev and he breezed through that with no trouble because of his said skill. Gassiev punches twice as hard as Fury for sure and wouldn't have a great deal less punching power than Joshua, who has overrated power imo.
Hell of a different prospect outboxing a midget fat man for 12 rounds to fighting Wilder, who is even taller and has longer arms than AJ. That's the fight the fans want to see, f**k cheating scum Fury, Wilder vs AJ unification fight March 2020.
Fury will go down as an ATG, possibly the GOAT.
Article had a lot of interesting crossover references I didn't know about, good piece.
Greatest as the most boring HW boxer to watch, sure.
His last 6 fights have bored me to tears. I couldnt even finish the WK fight. Only the Wilder fight was interesting as Wilder was actually trying to, you know, fight and KO the Gypssy Clown, who was spoiling, gurning and backpeddling for 12 rounds.
He won't even go down in the top 50 HWs of all time, he's a joke.
These corrupt, slimy low-lifes need to be consistent.
Fury will have been without a fight against a ranked opponent for nearly two years after he fights Ngannou in that circus exhibition.
He should be stripped and removed from rankings too.
Ginger took this guy's soul.
He'll get wrecked at LH as speed and mobility was his only redeeming quality, making up for the ultimate pillow fists of the division that he has.
Physically his build is pathetic for a pro boxer, barely any musculature.
Stop it lol Beterbiev was getting touched a little too much and looked bad agaisntta bum in marcus browne. Canelo worlds better than Browne lmao
Someone didnt watch the fight.... re-watch it, Browne must have landed 2-3 clean power punches the whole fight seriously. None of them even budged Beterbiev.
Usyk got his Christmas gift early. Clear robbery. Even dazn had fury up 8-4 and sky had fury up 7-5.
Nah all reputable sites had Usyk winning clearly. Boxingscene had Usyk winning.
Fury will get KO'd by Joshua next I hope he takes that fight.
If this is true then I feel for him, but is it just marketing? Tyson Fury grew his brand a lot by going on all the talk shows to talk about his battle with mental health. These guys promote so much trash, why would I believe them about anything? If they're willing to market other trash, like licking people's blood, then who says using this as a marketing tool is beneath them either?
Don't know about Lopez but Fury's mental health campaign was a complete smoke screen to deflect from his cheating and PED use. Also to avoid a certain rematch the fat crock of sh*t.
I think Hearn is a good promoter but looking at him here - it seems the more weight he loses the more his face looks like a rat/the blonde hobbit in LotR. He's one of the rare bread of men who look better when they're fatter.
What names on Mike Tyson's record? Lewis who beat him? Or Holyfield who beat him twice? I'm not really seeing these names. I'd back Ortiz to beat the version of Holmes that Tyson beat.
Dont be r$tarded. Even Frank Bruno, who Mike Tyson beat twice, is better than all the boxers on Fury's resume bar WK and possibly Wilder.
Fury's last 5-6 fights includes walking punchbags like Pianeta, Seferi, Schwarz, Wallin, (Wilder, lol).
I mean he put on a terrific performance Satdy night but lets not lose all sense of reality and get swept up in the hyperbole.
Why not. Chisora si something like Whyte. On his best day, he is better.
Not true. Chisora is past his physical peak, smaller and doesn't punch as hard as Whyte. Parker would have stopped Whyte but he was saved by the bell remember. Cant see Chisora lasting 12 with Parker.
Wilder is box office, because first and foremost he's EXCITING to watch in the ring, unlike the boring Gypsy Grandad Fury who can only sell 3000 tickets vs Euro bums, and then can't even come close to knocking them out for 12 rounds :)
Laughable comments from money-grabber Arum. I second all the comments that here in the UK no-one knows who Taylor is. It doesn't help he has such a generic name.
In terms of familiarity of sportsmen, if AJ was 90/100 I'd put Josh Taylor at about 4 or 5/100 for the UK audience. That is to say AJ is way over 10x more known than the Scot, being generous to Taylor. So yeah, AJ can sell out 70k seater stadiums, but you'd be deluded to think Taylor can. Crawford would sell 80% of those tickets in any case.
Lol getting horny in here with you guys.
Listen, I love both boxing and MMA. But these are facts that make me more drawn to UFC over the recent years :
- Boxing is riven with corruption and shady match-making and judges, many times more so than UFC.
- The popularity of the UFC is growing. At its current rate of growth it will rival boxing sometime in the near future
I love the fact the HW division is in ruins right now with the 5 year too late AJ Vs Wilder fight now dead, overrated Fury avoiding Usyk until their both old. Zhang is the only exciting boxer out of them all but he's 50.
This shows you how much of a fraud Fury is as Wilder, who is absolutely terrible, is his best win.
He looked skinny and old, aged about 3-4 years in 1 year. That will happen if you don't fight for 14 months at the age of 37 and just take a load of drugs.
His legs were so thin it looked like they could barely hold up his 175lbs torso.
I honestly think Fury has some kind of mental condition that causes him to lie and make things up. I've followed him for the past 10+ years and it's a constant.
Silk pyjamas, multi-millionaire businessman Fury is going to struggle against Whyte who has motivation for the fight. If Fury gets through that, Usyk will fully expose him afterwards.
You can't believe a word that comes out of this cuck's mouth.
Before he retired he was ***** scared of Wilder and called him the most dangerous HW out there and he didn't want to fight him.
Instead, he was going on about how he wanted to fight Fury and how he knows he could beat Fury! The man is deluded.
It’s funny he should say this, because having a burst eardrum would have been probably the most understandable validation for such a terrible performance.
So, as it turns out, being off balance the whole fight had nothing to do with his ears....but then we knew that already.
No, it doesn't change the fact that he got clobbered with a full swing rabbit punch to the back of the head that shook his equilibrium, many thought the ear burst was part of that, but it wasn't. He was still out of the contest cos of that shot, which to be fair he should have protected himself against.
He decisioned him didn't he. Tua wasn't a tripple by pass waiting to happen. And had not knocked Lewis all around the ring like a rag doll like Ruiz did to fake Joshua
Tua didnt have a stomach clamp because of being seriously obese like Ruiz here either.
