Loma is the smaller fighter
Less reach. Less power.
This means that he will have to execute the Hummingbird Style to perfection, lest he gets caught with a shot
This means that you will probably see Lomachenko in rare form. The quickest that we have seen him, because the risk is high with Linares
No mistake in Linares' footwork will go unpunished. This one may end in a liver shot knockout...

The fight pretty much went the way I expected:
- Loma got caught👍
- Loma ended the fight with a liver shot👍
Do I get extra points for these LOL
Spence and Crawford defeat Canelo, as convincingly or more so than Floyd. Why? Overall skills. Each would be a fight where the judges would not be compelled to give Canelo the close rounds. Spence and Crawford have the ability to KO Canelo.
Both Spence and Crawford, physically match up with Canelo, very well. Spence is taller and walks around as heavy or heavier than Canelo does and Crawford is the same height as Canelo.
Spence and Crawford beats every opponent that Canelo has fought and struggled with (Cotto, Lara, Trout) and could possibly beat the opponent that beat Canelo twice (GGG).
The hype train is off the rails with Canelo. He takes convincing losses to Spence or Crawford.
Nate Robinson story w/ Jake Paul photo???
Couldn't find a photo of Nate Robinson to go along with the feature that you ran on him? Ridiculous that you put an image of Jake Paul within Nate's story!!!
Loma beat Gary’s ass period. Gary was the one landing slap punches. I legit don’t think Gary a single solid punch the entire fight.
Loma definitely won. I still think that GRJ was Loma's most competitive fight.
Styles make fights, and Loma's style pretty much will overwhelm any of the traditional, Western boxing styles being used, today.
Combat Theory 101
Pre-fight testing is currently insufficient. Here is a suggestion for a standardized process which can add assurance to fairness. Without a similar process, dirty little tricks will be missed by the current inspection process. For example, Team Fury publicly stated their participation in hand-hardening using petroleum soaking.
Boxing hardware standards Performed with calibrated Measuring and Test Equipment by qualified examiners as witnessed by 3rd party auditors:
Gloves testing
1) Surface hardness: cannot be too hard to prevent fractures 2) Surface finish: cannot be to rough to prevent cuts. 3) Flexibility: must test within pre established parameters.
4) Elasticity ratio: baseline test must be within parameters to withstand softness for a hypothetical 24 rounds
Hand wrap testing
1) Hands cannot be artificially enhanced
2) Wrap cannot be harder than X parameters
3) Etc
Otherwise, cheaters gonna' keep cheating and getting away with it.
Simply put, Kovalev was too accommodating and did not want to hurt Canelo, the person who gave him an opportunity to make a large payday. As another poster mentioned, Nov had no animosity or bad intentions on his punches. Kov was essentially a neutral fanboy who didn't want to spoil Canelo's "history-making" night.
The oddsmakers and spectators must take a fighters psychological profile in mind, prior to placing bets and making predictions. I made the error of thinking that both men, came to fight. In reality, one fighter was in opportunity-mode, awaiting their chance to pounce, while the other was dissociated from the fight with no intent of "Krushing" their opponent. TBH, it was written all over Kov's face and within his body language.
A useless fight, because of the mismatched psychological profiles....

Trout vs Alvarez: Rules of Protest over the scoring
Greetings All,
( jhkcumbia18@yahoo.com, contact@wbcboxing.com, rmack@smithallinglane.com, fgm@wbanews.com, amflores@wbcboxing.com, boxing@tdlr.texas.gov )
Please advise as to the Rules of Protest regarding the Austin Trout vs Saul Alvarez boxing match, held on 4/20/2013.
1) Who may officially protest the scoring?
2) What is the official process to file a protest?
The general public deserve the full measure of fairness in and with boxing matches which are conducted by your organizations. There is a preceived injustice, no matter the claims of the valiant 'loser', when one combatant lands a significant amount of blows, versus the declared winner of the bout. Which begs the question: Was there fairness in the judging of this bout? Did the judges score the bout on the actual CONTENT of the boxers punches (see stats below) or did they score the bout on some other, unknown factors?
The paying public demand the very best, objective judging possible, and I am petitioning your organization to stand accountable for this miscarriage of (boxing) justice.
I appreciate your assistance, as I proceed with this matter. The Fans must receive the best product for their fare.
We can, and must do better than this!
Keith L. Smith

GRJ actually outboxed Loma. GRJ gave Loma his most competitive fight, in my opinion. And GRJ lost, as he should. Why? Because Loma is not a boxer.
Loma and his team have developed a new sport that I call 'Electrohitsu', which uses rapid lateral movement; rapid-fire, side-arm slappy body combinations (swings and lands punches to the body with the inside of the glove vs the extrados of the glove) at close range to the competitor and requires an ultra high production output of punches at angles, which frustrates and demoralizes the standard boxer. It's a 'pesky-pressure' type of style, which greatly capitalizes on the out-of-position* mistakes that boxer-fighters make. Remember the shot Loma landed on GRJ in round 10 when GRJ was in a "blind spot" and was out of position? The Electrohit style seeks these footwork errors and it was this error that Loma capitalised on to knock out Roman Martinez.
Loma beats down boxers in a similar way Moe used to slap Larry and Curly around. It's a brutal rapid-fire slow-dance, whereby the Electrohit-fighter beats you down with ferocious, constant, angled body shots, creating off-balance knockout opportunities. Watch the Walters highlights as a perfect presentation of the Electrohit style...
I'm not sure if any current boxers are brilliant enough to put together an effort to neutralize the ElectroHit style and land enough punches on Loma, to objectively "Salido" him.
Having said all of this, how would you fight Loma? I think a young Mayweather would have figured out the style by the 4th or 5th round but may have run out of time by then? Maybe not. That version of Mayweather was a brilliant beast. A true toss up in my mind.
Barring landing a knockout blow, I don't see any current boxers, overcoming the Loma 'Electrohit' style. If Linares connects, flush, he could give Loma a loss, but I doubt that it will happen.
BTW, watch some footage of Orlando Canizales for a preview of the Electrohit style....I believe Loma's team built their style off of Canizales.
Very interesting analysis except GRJ did not, in any way, outbox Lomachenko. I am not sure what u saw that would lead u to believe that but I would be interested to hear. Peace.
You're right, in the sense that Loma's style eventually overwhelmed GRJ, as it has with 99.9 to arguably 100% of his past opponents. My real point is that you can take the slickest boxer with mad speed and good power, and he/she will statistically speaking, lose to Loma's Hummingbird Style, every time.
Masters of Checkers can't compete with Masters of Chess; Checkers players need to learn how to play Chess, if they hope to dethrone the Chess king. Make sense?
Better yet, develop a higher form of Chess and make the Master look a fool, like Loma does with these traditional boxers...
Miller clearly won. Come on fam, let's get vocal. Make justice known. If this travesty were the other way around, y'all would be like, "Ruiz was robbed!!"
How many points do I get for this:

Stylistically, Loma's style is very similar to Orlando Canizales'.
If you are unfamiliar with Orlando Canizales, check out his footage on YouTube.

Headline should read: "Alexander vs Ortiz" ('A' before 'O').
This small dis is the motivation Devon will use, to pull off the TKO in the 8th round.....
Kovalev - KO - 8
8th round. Liver shot stuns Canelo.
Followed by a vicious flurry, stretching the smaller fighter out, on his back.
TKO victory over the smaller Alvarez.
Or Canelo by highly controversial UD.....
If a woman is due to give birth to baby Billy on June the 1st, there's no need to draw a picture of a baby boy on May 15th and call it "interim Billy". I agree with Mr. Scully...
I spent 5 mins trying to dissect your post like a maths equation. I’ve marked it as spam😂
Not spam, quite the opposite.
Before the fight, in the Frank Warren post, I predicted:
- Loma would get caught with a good shot
- Loma would end the fight, SPECIFICALLY with a liver shot
I just did not communicate my predictions well....
My $ would be on Pirog. If you haven't seen him, check him out against Jacobs. He is as impressive a prospect as I've seen in a while. His offense pivots off his Mayweather-esque defense....
Clenbuterol's benefits are multiple:
"A study performed on young males shows that only a 2 week use of clenbuterol increased their muscle mass 4.3% and reduced their fat by 15.4%"
Loma is nothing without the precise execution of his unique style of fighting. This is an objectively true statement, as I do not see this swarming style being used by any other fighters. Like a hummingbird versus a penguin.
That's actually another good name for his fighting style: The Hummingbird Method.
Point is, the Lomachenko's are transforming the sport of boxing with their unique fighting style.
Rounds 1, 2 & 3:
Spence will showcase his craft by ****out boxing**** Mikey Garcia.
'Mikey is the better boxer? Really? Watch me work!'
Round 4: Spence begins to exert his size.
Round 5: Spence seriously hurts Mikey to the body. A liver shot floors the smaller man. Garcia is also bloodied to the nose.
Round 6: Robert Garcia refuses to allow the fight to continue....Mikey retires on his feet. (Not on the stool)
