All these upcoming match-ups are awesome. Probably best few months boxing has seen in a while.
Just hoping each fighter has an amazing training camp and all of them stay healthy.
This probably makes me a rotten boxing fan...but No.
I think he shouldn't have been gifted the Pac win. What it made me hope for, is that the next fighter he takes on, will actually KO him. He isn't a great boxer and just flails his arms during exchanges. Just have never been a fan...especially after the Casamayor win.
What I DO respect about him is the fact he came out with reckless abandon and wanted to show he is a warrior.
lol it would suck for any of them to be called off.
I'd probably shed a few tears
No kidding! It would be hard to want to see any of these fighters being matched up with someone else.
Murray is no pushover. With Martinez coming off a knee surgery, anything can happen.
Not saying Murray has a great chance here, but you never know.
P.S. I am a huge Maravilla fan.
What it does is elevate JMM higher than Pacquiao. Floyd put on a clinic when he faught Marquez and would have done the same via Pacquiao.
Why are all these *******s even commenting?! JMM KO'ed him and he lost against Bradley. Go away already! :boxing:
Anything ACL related is tough. It is definitely hit or miss.
Cousin of mine blew out his knee years ago and still has lots of issues with it, after repairing it twice. I had the same happen to me and have been golden ever since my surgery.
All I am hearing is that Alvarado is a great boxer, etc.
I have yet to see it in his last few fights. We all know he likes to go in there and bang but at what cost? Is his pride the downfall with this 2nd Rios fight? Or will he pull the, "boxing" out of his arsenal?
I think this is going to be an ugly fight for both fighters. Super stoked for this!
The only tickets available after a few hours yesterday were the nosebleeds.
How do YOU explain how he is doing everything with God in his corner...then have the knowledge to carry a gun? Loaded or not, it is a stupid decision, and NOT something I would expect from someone having so much faith in God and being backed by God. Enough of the phonyness already.
Was awesome to have that face off at that game. 2 Texas teams. I am sure there are going to be tons of people coming from out of town to see this fight.
I think only a few seats remain. Friend of mine works at the Alamodome and said they are contemplating opening up the whole arena for the fight instead of just using 3/4 like they are now. So more tickets might be available and numbers would be close to 34,000.
