If MArquez Kos Bradley is he greater than Floyd?

this is something I talked about the other day. JMM will pass Floyd and be great right now with a Bradley win yet if Floyd even thought about fighting Bradley, he would get slaughtered for it. Makes no sense

No, I just think that a convincing win over the #1 Welterweight in the world (as some are calling him) would add a significant amount to his already great legacy - especially when you consider the fact that he's 39 years old. By some, do you mean no one? Because no one is calling him that. As in, literally, no one.

What it does is elevate JMM higher than Pacquiao. Floyd put on a clinic when he faught Marquez and would have done the same via Pacquiao. Why are all these *******s even commenting?! JMM KO'ed him and he lost against Bradley. Go away already! :boxing:

I know Floyd won in H2H but resume wise, Floyd does not measure up. Who did Floyd beat that was as good as Prime Pacquiao? Prime Bradley? Floyd is a damn ducker. For all we know Pacquiao wouldve beaten him, and JMM/Floyd/Pac would be like some rock paper scissors sort of deal. And no i am not high. If floyd is so terrible and such a ducker why is he the reference point in roughly 50-60% of the threads on NSB? Why does being better than floyd or having a better resume than him or selling more ppv's than him matter so much if he is so little?

That doesn't always tell the whole story though. Do you think that Sandy Saddler is better than Willie Pep? Gene Fullmer better than Sugar Ray Robinson? Thomas Hearns better than Roberto Duran? Riddick Bowe better than Evander Holyfield? If Marquez fights and beats Bradley in a convincing manner, he surely must be mentioned in the same breath as Mayweather at the very least. Both ATG's.....but when you list their wins, Floyd has much much much more good wins than Marquez. Floyd has about 15-16 wins on his resume that were legit fights against top ranked fighters at the time and won. Marquez has about 6 or 7. Floyd and Manny both have much much deeper resume's than Marquez does. It's not even close really.

You throw shot around like it everyones shot. Oscar wasn't shot at 154 in 07. Prime....hell no but not shot. Same goes for Cotto, Genaro. Looking back Mosley was past it, but he was coming off stopping Marharito, and Gatti was the #1 contender at the time. Pac by many was considered not the same guy in 2012 before Marquez knocked him off. Now he's considered prime again because Marwuez beat him? No way, it dont go both ways. Pac was still good, still a top fighter, not prime since 2009 though. Floyd has way way way more good legit wins than Marwuez. Its really not all that close. good analysis.... also, jmm's win over pac on their last fight may be by a tremendous k.o. but could not be taken on the whole as, for me, as a very sound victory....a win by a single punch is by my standard not a convincing 'tutorial or boxing clinic".... pac was getting the better of him before that k.o punch, boxing wise, jmm was better on the first pac fight....

when u compare both their resumes, its really not that close at all even if u include a bradley win. i dont see how it could be. marquez has beaten pac, casamayor, salido, gainer and has a very very controversial win over barrera in a fight he probably shouldnt have won. it just doesnt add up to anywhere near floyds resume.

I think it is very likely Marquez KOs Bradley if they fight. Pacquiao could have KOed Bradley in my opinion if Pacquiao had gone after Bradley harder than he did. Even if Marquez was to KO Bradley it would not make his onesided lost to Mayweather go away. Floyd is much better than Bradley and Marquez KOing Bradley would not make him better than Floyd. Mayweather and Marquez fought in different weight classes and in my opinion PFP. they are about even.

besides I thought Bradley was overrated now because Provonikov arguably won, which is it? the NSB hypocrites cant ever get their stories straight. First guererro is a cherry pick and bradleys better. Then bradley has a tough fight and isnt even a top 5 WW, now if JMM kos him its all the sudden a great win. They always want to discredit another fighter for whatever reason

I think he already is but if he beats Bradley I don't see how anyone could question him being better than Floyd especially at this stage in Marquez's career, Bradley is a young strong dangerous fighter but Bradley has more experience and intelligence.
