Darchinyan
Hey, Darchy, 'If there is a will there is a way'. It seems all you have are bravado talks. The truth is, you and Gary are scared as hell to Donaire.
Manny doesn't want to fight Ricky?
It could be the other way around. If Ricky is confident he can beat Manny, why doesn't he gives way to 55-45 to Manny's favor after which his book value will be enhanced (if he wins) and then can call the shots later. At the moment, the man is Pacquiao who beat the King and surely can not be Ricky who beat a queen!
For whatever reason, Ricky could've turned down a fight with ODLH (as claimed by Ricky's father) because he is scared of the King fearing another demolition like what happened to him with Mayweather. On the other hand, Manny was confident he can beat the King thus settling to the very loop-sided 68-32 sharing and subsequently became the MAN. Ricky had that same alleged chance but he sulked. That's a shame.
Now, this is another chance for you Ricky and are you going to sulk again? You should even feel fortunate that Manny is entertaining your challenge at all while a more lucrative fight with Mayweather who knocked you out and who was also labeled the number one p4p is at the wings for Manny.
Raging Bull Shit
He brawls. He knocks them out. There's no way Darchinyan can lose, i.e, if he fights patsies. To do that, Gary Shaw has to avoid Donaire. Nonito got Vic's number already. Gary Shaw knows that very well. What a misnomer to call Vic a 'Raging Bull' when the tail is between Gary's legs. Vic could be great. But he and Gary are Bull Shits depriving people from a fight they want to see. I see no glory to this Bull until he can even up with Donaire. But if boxer and promoter are scared, the knock out of the year 2007 will haunt them both.
52-48?
No, not this 52-48. 55-45 could be it and that too is a message to the rest of would-be challengers one of whom could be Mayweather who is tinkering the reverse to his favor in the sharing when he comes out to fight Pacman. Even If Pacman will knock Hatton out, definitely Floyd will hustle having knocked out Hatton too. The bottom line is, Pacman is not the 'approacher' but the approached. Don't they say this in England too that - "Beggars can't be choosers"?
Too much praises!
As the Mexicans say, "solo los viejos", and I agree. Manny decided to fight Oscar because Freddie Roach thought Oscar 'can't pull the trigger anymore'. Freddie seemed to have come out right. But think that Oscar had to dehydrate to go down to a weight set by Freddie Roach himself. I admire Oscar's courage taking the challenge despite what he had to undergo.
For Manny to deserve those luxurious praises to him like being the 'David demolishing Goliath', best pound4pound boxer in the world, immortal in the likes of Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran or Sugar Ray Leonard, why is he avoiding Juan Manuel Marquez who I thought defeated Manny in their two fights and raring to fight him again? Or Edwin Valero who is a young boxer? True champoins should not be cowards.
On the other side of the coin, what could had Manny achieved had Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Oscar de la Hoya been in their prime?
