Both Martinez legs where gone, he couldn't move around the ring - he was like a punching bag.
Cotto had him down three times in the first round and couldn't finish him off, I think that really shows a lack of courage and will.
Martinez was there for the taking for 9 more rounds before his corner threw in the towel but Miguel did not have the skillset to knockout the 39 year old man (who is long past his day.)
I really hope they choose cottos next opponent wisely, TBE would knock him clean out early.
I don't think so. I thought that he had to be very wary of Martínez's punching power. All that Sergio needed was one good punch like he did against Williams and Cotto was out. Cotto performed incredibly. I saw a video on youtube about some guy that went to Floyd's gym and he asked like 15 up-and coming fighters about this fight and they ALL said Martínez would crush Cotto. Seems like you were like them and still can't get over the fact that he got owned.
I think Cotto just has to take the fight to him and hope to God that GGG doesn't knock him out cold. GGG reminds me of Cotto when he was at 140. But why would Cotto fight GGG when he could make a much more lucrative fight against Canelo? (Who I see beating Miguel).
Crawford is just another carefully protected guy in his prime that takes no risks in his career.
Where are his fights with guys of his generation, like Thurman, Porter, Spence, Danny?
I don`t care about management excuses.
Pacquiao should fight Porter, Spence, Danny or Mikey. Those guys deserve it.
Pacquiao shouldn't be fighting. Does he still owe Bob money?
Interesting round. Both guys fought inside, Paulie starts to move backwards and box. Herman landed two nice right hands to the head that should, or could, give him the round. AT least in my book he did. 10-9 Herman.
Round 4: Herman getting Paulie's strategy down. He is landing constant rights to the top and landed one left flush. Paulie's eye swelling, the left one. Could go either way, cuz both were aggresive. I got with Herman. 10-9.
Much of the same as round 1. Except Paulie is landing a lot the straight left to the head...with a nice pop to it. Herman is getting closer and working some punches there, but not the kind that win rounds. 10-9 Paulie.
I spend it by myself, I hate everybody. The holidays seasons sucks because I'm shallow and so are females. So, yeah fuck the holiday seasons.
GO get on your xbox 360 and own some people there, that would make u feel better.
Round 6: Herman keeps being the aggresor. Paulie is not using the jab enough to keep him off of him. Paulie landed two straight left jabs that might have won him the round. But I just see Herman getting the better of him. 10-9 Herman.
do you agree???
no way the judges give this fight to herman...
Paulie and Cotto own NY......Hatton vs. Paulie = big bucks..Herman will get screwed if this fight is like how you guys are calling it.
Dude but Herman is being aggresive and working Paulie round the clock. I got it 5-4 Herman.
Round 1: Paulie outboxing Herman all round. Fighting inside. Lots of "pocket punching". Being evasive but not while running backwards. Had some clear shots. 10-9 Paulie.
Most def. It's only 10:30 over here, so I'm just out the door for a party.
Se you bastids next year! :friday: :fest30:
Damn Kaynan I hope that durden dude would gamble 50k against me too. haha.
Round 5: Herman seems to be weathering down Paulie. It could go either way, but in my eyes Herman landed the cleaner, flusher shots, the kind that win rounds. 10-9 Herman.
I thought Paulie would have a chance at outboxing Hatton, but after tonights performance I think Hatton would beat him up as well. Im not saying if he fought Hatton he wouldnt fight better and could have a chance, but Hatton I think would bully him around.
I see no reason for Hatton to not own Paulie.
