What is Zuffa doing on the American side of things? That’s what I care about. They are continuing the destruction of American boxing that Dazn started. Any American boxer that has any sort of profile will only sign to fight on Zuffa for a few fights for big money. I posted earlier this year that David should absolutely plan to move up. The HW div has historically been ruled with an iron fist by black Americans since the beginning. But no more. If you're a young black kid that's projected to grow into 6'3 310 lbs - 6'8 265 lbs then you will be guided into football and basketball because that's where the money is. America has no Mike Tyson or Holyfield on the horizon. Jared Anderson blew his chance. Looks like AJ and Tyson Fury (both 6'6-6'8) are the last of the UK giants. This new wave of HWs are going to be like Usyk and Itauma both around 6'3 230lbs. Benavidez is about 6'2 / 6'3 and came in last night about 200 lbs. With careful planning he could definitely make his WEIGH up in a couple of years. If I were his team I would say fuqk Canelo and Opetia and make his own economy at cruiserweight with the traditional boxing orgs. ZUFFA a.k.a. DUFUS boxing isn't going to do anything for his American profile and neither will DAZN. I don't know about you guys but lil' Sammy gained a lot of respect over here in the Sates with that fight against Abdullah. He has surpassed Euro level. He needs to be fighting over here against American boxers to progress to the next step. Another fight against Liam or Caleb in Nottingham will do him no justice. Fighters will go for the best deal and you can't really blame them. I don't think anyone is choosing Zuffa for the prestige. Promoters arguing that the Zuffa deals are bad for fighters shouldn't have anything to worry about. And if the fighters didn't understand that before then the current LIV golf debacle should hammer that home with perfect timing. But maybe the current promoters and orgs aren't quite as great for the fighters as they like to claim. Similar to the PGA, this might push them to do better. I really wish Oscar would've brought up the whole LiIV debacle. They did the same to American golf what Dazn (now Zuffa) is doing to American boxing. Just yesterday Saudi informed the media that LIV golf will cease to exist after the 2026 season. When LIV golf signed players away from the PGA like Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and John Rahm that was equivalent to Dazn signing boxers like Andrade, Canelo and Devin and Zuffa signing Hitchins and Conor Benn. Its only a facade. That shyte didn't work in golf and it's not going to work in boxing!

I’m more than happy to see PBC, golden boy, matchroom, and Queensbury working together.
