Inside fighting was actually an American innovation. The likes of Frank Klaus and others around the turn of the century were instrumental in it's development.
Georges Carpentier in his book "Boxing as a Fine Art" made it a point to distinguish between the British school and the American school, with the former focusing on outboxing while the latter was more rough and tumble and had a lot of in-fighting.
He believed the French school would become superior to both as it was going to unite the two methods but that obviously never happened. Probably due in large part to the world wars.
Good post. I can't remember where but I remember reading after routinely being beaten by Americans the pre-world war one Brits said American boxing was too violent and ungentlemanly.
You seriously don't see cloud clinching and then getting punished on the inside which basically ruined him?
Oh nvm you're a troll. With the name white devil lol good one
I think it's pretty clear you don't get what inside fighting is. Yeah with a name like mine I'm trolling with a view against two white fighters. Dips.hit
Jesus it's not hard to see it.. it's literally in the first round.
Getting close range with beterbiev is foolish for anyone
Now you're changing your words.. Close range. Good job,dips.hit.
Yup you try harder or perhaps actually watching the whole fight
Beterbiev wrecked him close range most of the fight and the knockout were brutal hooks and uppercut
Like I said you don't know what inside fighting is. Right before the first knockdown They briefly go inside but beterbiev has nothing on his punches He gets a little distance mid range and drops cloud. It's not difficult s.hit
Just came over from the PBC fight what’s the scoop on this fight guys? Espn announcers acting like the fight needs to be stopped
Me too. They spent the whole tenth round talking about how it needs to be stopped but it looked like Dogboe won that round.
If and when Hurd finally moves up and fights guys his own damn size he is going out on a stretcher it's that simple you can't get hit as much as he does with clean monster shots from those bigger better fighters and stay up right. He is too slow no defense not much boxing skills. His only skill is he is bigger then 154lbers.
Yeah, completely agree.
Barrios will probably introduce Tio Lopez to the 140's by introducing Lopez to his first KO loss. Barrios has more dimensions to his game but Lopez gets all the notoriety for his mouth and arrogance.
Good post.
I told idiotszzz so.... no need for a rematch.... dogboe has aged 15 years after this fight....he is ready to go back neho town... if neho means scrap yard
Who did you tell, bro?
It was an absolute robbery !! Korobov won the first 7 rounds clean, those round s weren't even close. Then Aleem won 8,9, and 10. 7 rounds to 3 doesn't add up to a draw but pbc always helps out certain fighters and it ain't Asians, whites or Hispanics.
My thoughts exactly
