If Ward-Augustus had gotten half the press "Ward-Gotti #1" had gotten, Ring magazine would have called that the "Fight of the Year" too. That's not to denigrate Ward-Gotti, btw, I was at both of those fights - I say that more as a testament to Mickey Ward being the toughest S.O.B I've ever seen ... and I thought he won that first fight with Gotti, too, I sat ringside - it was close, to be sure, but there was a right answer there, and that was wrongly decided (I'm sure there have been too many posts about that issue to count though, so I'm not gonna try and revive an old, and very bitter debate)

Replies ... 1) Hey Iceman - Yeah, I am from CT - I actually met you once at the fights up at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, NH ... do they still have that show every summer? I always liked that event ... you fought there a bunch of times too I think, right? ... 2) BIGPOPPAPUMP - First of all, what does that Username mean?
