Anybody know any good boxing books (biographies/memoirs) from ex fighters and trainers? I recently finished Mike Tysons book, then the one from Teddy Atlas. Both are really good and entertaining. Any recommendations?

So this fight is going to make like what, half a billion dollars? Are we supposed to believe that there isn't **** going on behind closed doors, them setting up the outcome of this fight a certain way to have a rematch and then obviously a 3rd fight to make a couple billions with this trilogy? This is supposed to be a legit fight where none of them know the outcome of? This is how they'll draw it up. First fight, Pac wins via split decision (close fight) which sets up the 2nd fight. May's first L? Won't matter, he'll argue that everybody wanted him to fight Pac and that's what makes the best boxers so now he'll use it to to his own advantage, claiming the all time greats always fought the best, the records don't matter and so on instead of the loss actually hurting his legacy. Second fight, Mayweather wins (un. or split). We won't see knockouts happen. Dont fool yourself. That'd hurt business. These two aren't retarded and we all know they're only in it for the money, as they should. This isnt a hobby. Third fight will be "legit", meaning knockout might happen, the better fighter will win. Those other 2 fights are just setups for the third fight. In between we'll have like 3-6 months breaks so that next year in May we'll have the big showdown again. There you go. Spoiler alert.

How about his coach teaches him how to protect his face at some point? His reach advantage is the only thing that saves him in boxing and he won't have that against another tall boxer. Fury looks like **** when you break him down in terms of his skills, especially his defense.

anybody listen to him during the cotto bout? he trashed both guys saying they are way past their prime and basically thats a boring fight even though they were throwing haymakers and hitting each other clean the entire fight after that he did say some stuff that made sense re floyd etc. so im sure he wasnt drunk or anything but i was a little surprised what he had to say about cotto :bigeyes:
