Murat's Iraqi??
WAR MURAT!!!
Well he was born in Iraq, but he's Armenian just like Arthur Abraham. They actually have trained together under Uli Wegner.
I'm not gonna cry over the premature stoppage. Murat sure as hell wasn't gonna win on the cards, and I doubt he could have gotten the KO in the last two rounds. But that we'll never know. Cleverly was slowing down, but so was Karo. Neither really hurt each other.
And damn, what is Naseem a heavy now? :p
Props to Hall for admitting defeat, but I don't like to see boxers give up so easy. He's really not that bad, just fought weak competition for too long.
Still better than him coming to the ring like a smurf.

German TV made him do it.
No, I can't really excuse that.
ok since you wont help with the stream, can you tell me how to add pictures to my side profile of each of my posts????
This one's good, trying to warm his way in as a newbie.
Just kidding, it's really tough in situations like this. Please understand that there are a ton of people coming in here before every fight leaching for streams, and a good number of them work for the networks. Sorry about the cold reception if you're not one of them, but if you are, I suggest you guys get a new tactic.
Damn I gotta stay away from this place from 9pm to 1am then
Why 1 am? Aren't you on the eastern shore of the US? Regular ESPN should be broadcasting at 11p Eastern time as far as I know.
haha Darchinyan gonna get his ass whooped again, can't wait.
damn I guess Yohnny's war with Abner Mares rendered him obsolete... dude just doesn't fight the same, he looks old and wasted in there :(
ha, maha, wawahaha, what?
Is this the only fight they're going to televise?
Since Agbeko's bout is canceled, I'd assume Showtime would bump one of the undercards (nothing noteworthy) up into the televised slot given they have a certain amount of time reserved for this on the channel. But now that I look at the Showtime schedule, the card is supposed to finish by 12:00, so it may just be the Darchinyan fight tonight.
Damn.
Looks like Perez didn't want anymore and I don't blame him but that was lame. The fans didn't get very good value for the tickets they bought tonight.
Considering that most of the fans who showed up after Mares was dropped came for Vic, I don't think they were very disapointed.
I was thinking the same thing...I'm no boxer...by trade but gosh man, give me Darchinyan's payday and I'd have whooped Perez's ass in 3 rds. I'm more of a MW though but that is beside the point, lol
Let's not take away credit from Vic. The way he jumped on poor Perez from the opening bell would have discouraged you too to fight back. Vic was pummeling him from pillar to post in the first round, didn't exactly leave Yohnny in the best position to fight well after that kind of a welcome beating.
Fight Camp worked great for the Super Six, maybe due to the multiple interesting and distinct characters involved.
For this fight, the Fight Camp crew has been forced to produce material much more regularly, every week as opposed to every two or three months like they were used to with the Super Six, so that may be it too.
I dont get why people were impressed by him last night,Perez looked badly past it and could not pull the trigger,Sure Vic dominated but he had wide open holes Perez could not take advantage of that Mares and Agbeko both will.
Ever suspect that Perez couldn't get off to offense because of Vic's activity? The way he put the beating on Perez from literally the first second of the fight would discourage anybody from fighting back. Vic left no room for feeling out or becoming acquainted. He dictated the pace and won by being the first to turn on the heat.
Maybe excuses is the wrong word to use, but just warming up, would have continued if... are not words that should have been coming out of his mouth after that performance and what many would call quitting on his part. For the record I don't think he quit, but he made absolutely no motion that he wanted to continue contrary to what he wants us to believe with such statements.
Again sporing Vic in my avatar I probably shouldn't be talking about "downplaying a loss" (Vic five minutes after the Donaire knock-out anyone?), but it's only fair to point out when others do the same.
at :45 dude just gives up, hilarious
1:23, oh look who it is, it's Donaire's little brother whom Vic beat to a pulp and made quit. Every time Filipinos try to jump in here with how Nonito destroyed Vic, I remind them how pathetic Donaire Jr is. No hard feelings, it balances out that rough KO. At least Nonito avenged his brother's beating, which I can respect.
Do you watch boxing? The referee does this before EVERY fight.
I am commenting about us having to watch this crap instead of having Manny in the ring an hour ago.
And I am pissed off at the ridiculous questions Manny was asking the referee, of course he knows the answer. Just wasting time.
Instead of calling Arce a coward Rojas needs to reanalyze his own guilt in the lead-up to this.
You didn't hit his face, you hit about as far to the side of the head as it gets. Nobody's accusing you of intentionally doing it, but at least admit to the accidental mistake instead of claiming innocence in front of a contradictory video replay.
Unless the translator can't distinguish between face and head.
@#$@#$$#$^ should have gone with my instinct
Don't worry about it, happens all the time. And if you had placed the bet and Ortiz didn't win, you'd still be beating yourself up about it.
Vanes was supposed to fight Rhodes in April, but judging by a recent article on BS, according to Juse Sulaiman (WBC) Rhodes may be getting expedited now to a Canelo shot and Vanes is once again left in the dust.
