Humbling, I dare all these Trolls to take their a$$es to a Boxing Gym and do their Training routine and spar a few rounds. I guarantee these little disrespect trolls will NEVER talk sh1t about a fighter again.
You will have a greater respect for these fighters after you attempt to do what they do Daily
You can THINK you are already in shop because you have a little Muscles and a 6 Pack but a Boxers Cardio is actually UNREAL. Those Rounds are the longest 3 Minutes of your fukin life, it feels like a fukin Hour.
lol funny thing i dont have a six pack and im out of shape im not fat im real skinny but i havent worked out in a long time... i hope i become good tho
One rule to live by-don't be a b1tch and DO NOT act like billy bada$$. You'll get tuned up in a heartbeat. Other than that, stay humble, stay focused, and have fun and learn.
oooooooooooooo so dont be like that? i sure would walk in with alot of confidence lol
i was wondering some people do other fighting styles
is it best if i learn other fighting styles as well to become a better boxer or no ?
because i talk to personal trainers some say no some say yes...... i just want answer because i do not want to make a mistake..
any help ?
I just started training after i introduced myself and paid. You have to remember that no one, I repeat NO ONE in the gym gives a fk about you or notices that you're even there, except for you. Don't think of yourself as someone important or special and just do what everyone else is doing, except do it harder. In time trainers will start to notice you. :boxing:
lol alright they gon come because imma work my ass off... im bring out that thunda ! lol
training section....
when i first stepped into a boxing gym the atmosphere was refreshing, no-one judges you, everyone is just focused on what they are doing. you dont have to get a trainer.
thanks for the help
You asking keyboard warriors lol, most who spend their time calling people who step through the ropes "cowards" so good luck with loads of replies.
Tell em Ray.
lol awww man
If you live in California I'll some boxing but you need to just join a local amateur gym those personnel trainers will rip you off at $ 75 personnel trainer don't know boxing they just help professional fighters get in shape
wait so 75 $ is a rip off???????? i never knew that i wouldve been dumb enough to fall for it because i thought it was just like that for all personal trainers
Just try some different trainers until you find one you connect with. I've had some excellent trainers who didn't speak my language and I've had others who make complete sense and teach me more in one hour than another might do in a half dozen sessions.
As far as what to expect, expect to bust your ass and forget what you think you know.
oooooooooo okay coool.. i hope i get the right one
I don't train as a boxer, never had a boxing match outside of the front and back yard. But I have tons of punching bag experience and tons of shadow boxing. Currently, I lift weights 3-5 times a week. I just got back from the gym right now. No less than an hour per session. Atleast 20 min of cardio minimum. The rest lifting.
nice are u planning on being a boxer though ?
Amateur Boxing while I was fighting back in 2012
Run tues thurs sat , mix it up with long distance, quick 3 miles and sprints/intervals
Strength training on Tuesday
Boxing gym on wed fri sometimes Monday
Been put off due to injuries and college. Gained nearly 20kg since my last fight back in 2012 November mostly muscle though. As soon as exams are done in June, will step in the ring and start amateur boxing again, can't wait!
u get alot of injuries?
When I competed, I would train at least 6 days a week.. Probably ran every day.. Some training days were harder than others...
I would spar every Thursday and Saturday..
wow how long did u run ?
It's not as safe as you might think:

lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never boxed in a ring. I unfortunately did a lot of my fighting outside of it. I was a completely different person back when I was younger; very angry. But one day all that anger got me into a lot of trouble and as i did my time and paid the price i found god and through him I now live a happy life. and I do occasionally visit my local gym to get a good workout.
oooooooooooo good
