i been thinking about boxing calling up some gyms
they have personal trainers there but they are like $75 and up for an hour of training
i do have income but its not much maybe i should get an extra job on the side or something but i dont want to spend so many hours on working and then not be motivated to train...
i was wondering how often you should see a personal trainer ? do you train your self for most of the times ?
i feel like i need alot of help i have no experience at all and i know people who been boxing all they life i know its going take me a while for me to get on their level...
how is it like when you first start going to a boxing gym ?
training section....
when i first stepped into a boxing gym the atmosphere was refreshing, no-one judges you, everyone is just focused on what they are doing. you dont have to get a trainer.
thanks for the help
One rule to live by-don't be a b1tch and DO NOT act like billy bada$$. You'll get tuned up in a heartbeat. Other than that, stay humble, stay focused, and have fun and learn.
oooooooooooooo so dont be like that? i sure would walk in with alot of confidence lol

I just started training after i introduced myself and paid. You have to remember that no one, I repeat NO ONE in the gym gives a fk about you or notices that you're even there, except for you. Don't think of yourself as someone important or special and just do what everyone else is doing, except do it harder. In time trainers will start to notice you. :boxing:
lol alright they gon come because imma work my ass off... im bring out that thunda ! lol
Just try some different trainers until you find one you connect with. I've had some excellent trainers who didn't speak my language and I've had others who make complete sense and teach me more in one hour than another might do in a half dozen sessions.
As far as what to expect, expect to bust your ass and forget what you think you know.
oooooooooo okay coool.. i hope i get the right one
hahaha what are you guys talking about. You guys are acting like its some huge step and some beastly accomplishment to go to a boxing gym. **** no, its peanuts. Its like going anywhere youve never been before thats it. Now if you are talking about your first time sparring it is a bit different or your first fight
LOL true. You could stop by any boxing gym and pay 5 bucks just to check it out that day, hit the bags and be out with nobody even noticing you. It's not a big deal unless somebody takes note of you because you're good/have experience and it's during hours that people are sparring.
OP, just do some research about the local gyms near your area and go check it out and meet the trainers. Nobody is going to throw you in there to spar the best guy they have on your first visit. And in the unlikely chance that actually happens, give them the old, "I forgot my mouthpiece" line and be out.

Humbling, I dare all these Trolls to take their a$$es to a Boxing Gym and do their Training routine and spar a few rounds. I guarantee these little disrespect trolls will NEVER talk sh1t about a fighter again.
You will have a greater respect for these fighters after you attempt to do what they do Daily
You can THINK you are already in shop because you have a little Muscles and a 6 Pack but a Boxers Cardio is actually UNREAL. Those Rounds are the longest 3 Minutes of your fukin life, it feels like a fukin Hour.
lol funny thing i dont have a six pack and im out of shape im not fat im real skinny but i havent worked out in a long time... i hope i become good tho

All this Tough Internet Stuff and guys telling fighters "Not To Run" and go "Toe To Toe" it is a totally different mentality when you are the one getting hit
