There are a lot of reasons why AJ is more popular. For one, he doesn't look like a sideshow freak. AJ caries himself like a champion, acts like a champion, looks like a champion and not some fat slob freakshow. And his fights are exciting.
Yea Fury is gonna win a few fights because he's twice as big as his opponents, but like many have said he wasn't all that exciting before,
plus.. in Europe not just in the UK we don't like gypsies.. they're scummy, filfthy trash. All they do is steal and beg.. beg.. beg.. It's hard to root for a gyps, especially when you've lived around them and see what kind of dirty scum they are.
I hope he never losses, he is one of extremely few in boxing that is nothing but a credit to the sport.
Active, fights the best continually, no bs drama or diva antics, highly skilled, exciting to watch, always in shape and a great personality.
I'd hate to see him lose in all honesty he is a breath of fresh air in a division full of mouthpieces.
exciting to watch? are you kidding me? if Usyk wins in this division it's going to be by decision.. everytime. Guy can't knock down any of these heavyweights let alone get the KO. This is the boxer you want to reign the heavyweight division? a boxer who came out himself and said "I'm not in the hurt business".. who the f is jumping up and down saying I can't wait see this guy fight? Usyk wouldn't be able to sell a quarter of what AJ brought that night.
Wow.. Usyk fans are worse than Fury and Wilder fans wtf.. In what world does Usyk even come close to knocking out Fury or Wilder.. A cruiserweight who moved up is going to knock out Fury? The guy Wilder couldn't knock out? Lmao you do realize Wilder hits about 50 times harder than your man crush right? Your boy would get put in a hospital.
It doesn't matter anyways AJ is getting those belts back in devastating fashion.
I remember when wlad was dominating the division. He took on everyone out there except his brother. Everyone was delighted at the thought of him being away from the sport so fresh blood could step up and give it some new energy. Its been shocking since then. We probably only got fury vs wilder because everyone thought fury was done
lmao wlad dominating the division, you mean one of the weakest divisions in the history of boxing? the same wlad who had no dog in him? ah right i remember that wlad, the punch and grab style (AMAZING) couldn't wait to see his next fights..
Your a just a hater
he beat pulev and povetkin 2 people that worked their way to mandatory title shots recently. 10 years past their primes.
Everyone claims a division is weak when 1 guy dominates.
You and I both know that heavyweight division was weak af. Yes the Pulev and Povetkin wins were nice, but Wladimir finished his career with 64 wins and 5 losses, won gold at the 96' Olympics, defended the belts over 15 times and yet he doesn't crack any top 15 heavyweights of all time list (any credible list) why do you think that is? are they haters too?
I like Lopez, but his dad talking all the time doesn't help much, and him chasing Eddie around backstage asking for money is not a good look. Other than that he's a really exciting fighter and his peers just seem jealous.
Andrade has a lot of haters but Canelo absolutely avoided him. He left 160 rather than fight him, just like he's leaving 168 to avoid Benavidez. Whenever some fighters nowadays don't wanna fight someone, they go to a different weight class saying that they're breaking records and making history, but all they do is pick an old past prime guy with a name, or someone they think is a soft touch, or vulnerable in some way. Some fighters learned that blueprint from Floyd, who often went into semi- retirement to avoid tough fights or dangerous guys. Thanks for Floyd for fu...ing up boxing with ur nasty ass business model
A guy who gave his life to boxing, and made it a point in his career to make sure to leave no doubt if fights were close by giving his opponent an immediate rematch (Maidana) even when the dirty fighter didn't deserve it. Avoided tough fights? Right on.. lmao
Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz, Miguel Cotto, Canelo Alvarez, Maidana x2 and Pacman are all some of the fighters Floyd has fought and beaten in case you've forgot.
I know it's hard to find bad things to say about Floyd's boxing career, but were just going to make up bullshit now?
