The stomach is in the mid-left upper abdomen. The punch landed on the left lower abdomen / inguinal canal (lots of nerves there) at the level of the lower belt line, so basically half of the shot is legal, and half is illegal. The video below (2:15-2:19, focusing on the left side, where the impact occurred) shows this quite well. Now that the dust has settle it's clear it was low - the ref made the right call. Only people who will keep crying about it are Brits and/or Usyk-haters. Dubois was knocked out by a jab.

He’s bending in that photo. His naval is visible whenever he’s standing straight. Great pic...it's pathetic to see the arguments against the clear proof. It's weird how emotionally invested some people are about this. Dubois kept hitting low numerous times, and yet the fanboys keep denying it.

That’s why I said “and not even close”. You had NOTHING to do with that part of my answer. And it wasn’t a bladder shot, foh. He hit the man on his left side of the stomach and he crumbled like he got shot. He wasn’t holding his genitals or acting like he got hit low. He was trying to catch his breath and the ref even helped his ass recuperate.
