Im completely off AJ at title level....but he certainly beats Joyce. Joe Joyce showed tonight that put under pressure he will fold. He started believing his own hype...and was completely shocked with this outcome. He expected to win and win easy...and when he didnt...he was left virtually speechless. You could see in his face post fight interview that it wasnt sinking in.

Can Joyce continue to eat shots from big heavyweights? That was always the big question. Tonight showed that of course he can't, no-one can. Joshua gets called robotic but his speed is levels above the guys you saw tonight. He would land power shots. Lots of them. ​​​​​So can Joyce walk through Joshua's power shots? It's the same question it always was - and tonight made me think he probably can't. Actually Oliver McCall got hit with power punches though out his career and never went down or was hurt. Joe Joyce's chin isn't nearly as good as you casuals make it out to be.

Joshua would be landing on Joyce a lot, and Joshua does have one of the better defenses in the division. Joshua does have solid power, he would again be in the top-2 biggest punchers Joyce has ever faced. The big thing Joyce has is determination, a good jab and endurance. But skill for skill, Joyce is not really on a level which will intimidate Joshua, Usyk or Fury. It is his endurance, brute strength, Jab which is the challenge for his competition. People are only going to know how a fight goes when it happens. If Tyson Fury would actually fight at world level outside of Wilder 'Fury may well get wacked and banged about'. Fighters got to fight. Joyce technically did not need to fight 'But he did, it was a insiders fight'. Good performance from Zhang.

Silly fight to take. Southpaw counter puncher against Joyce's static head and slow feet. Usyk would've done the same. Fury and AJ are probably stylistically the best fights for Joe - but we probably won't see those now.
