Just look at this AJ disaster. You’ve committed to paying the guy over £100m and Sky are the one’s profiting on his next fight. The vast majority of AJ revenue comes from the UK and you lost the f***ing rights. What are they doing man? Another catastrophe of epic proportions, can’t wait to see how Eddie spins this one. :lol1:

DAZN is running boxing.
DAZN loves Eddie Hearn.
OP looks like a fool.
Literally sums up the Matchroom fanbase. Eddie could tell them the grass is blue and the sky is green and they’d believe it.
And if Eddie told you the grass is green and the sky is blue you would call him a liar then start yet another thread him bashing for it.
Which, in other words, was the deal was poorly put together. Skipper a practical businessman? Pretty sure he was ousted for doing drugs whilst on the job. Youre hilarioud at this point.
What exactly is the value of two Joshua fights if he doesn't have a title?
What exactly is the connection between John Skipper and the UK rights for Usyk/AJ 2?
You do know that Skipper is no longer with DAZN, yes?
Skipper never said the deal was badly put together. He said that, with hindsight, it probably would have been better to build a relationship with Wilder and his team before putting the offer to Deontay. Skipper is a practical minded business man. He's used to working with other business men, not feminised emotional snowflakes like Wilder.

The deal wouldn't have left Wilder in limbo if AJ had lost. If that was the reason why Wilder turned it down then why didn't anybody connected with him even mention that when explaining their reasons at the time? It was an offer to fight the mando with Breazeale then 2 fights with AJ, and the AJ/Wilder fights were contingent on them both winning their interim fights.
What exactly is the value of two Joshua fights if he doesn't have a title?
Again, you're just taking Eddie's word :lol1:
Utterly hilarious at this point.

Facts like he’s lost hundreds of millions and lost out on the two biggest UK fights available this year?
Yeah he’s not accountable at all. :lol1:
Hearn hasn't lost out on Usyk/AJ 2, he's promoting the fight, ffs! And it's going to make him a hell of a lot more money then Frank Warren, aka Bob Arum's UK PR man, made from Fury vs Whyte.
John Skipper, DAZNs head at the time literally came out and said it was a badly put together deal. What the **** are you even arguing? This is what I mean about Hearniacs seeming slow. They DID offer him more money to fight Joshua. A mutlifight offer which would have had Wilder in limbo as Joshua lost. Haymon talked him out of it. This is literally common knowledge that can br Googled.
Again. How do you know Joshua is getitng what they say he is? I think they released his financials which said his company made about 40m over the last two or so years. Which seemed kinda different from the numbers touted by DAZN. I don't believe these numbers either. Because there is no athletic commission like Nevada which has to provide mandatory minimums. Again, you're just taking Eddie's word :lol1:

We've just been giving you facts. It seems like you're too emotionally fixated on Hearn to understand some people neither love nor hate the guy.

You call the deal DAZN offered to Wilder laughable, but it would have earned him more money than he ended up getting for fighting Fury instead, which Wilder himself admitted.
And if Hearn is such a lousy promoter, then how come he's gotten AJ 3/4 times as much money for fighting Usyk than Arum/Warren were able to get Fury for fighting Wilder?

You two just can’t accept it can you? Your love for Hearn knows no bounds.

A promoter employed by DAZN to deliver content fails to secure the UK rights to a fight he is promoting! How is he not accountable? :lol1:
D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L.
Hearn isn't employed by DAZN. He has a deal with them whereby they help fund fights he promotes and get the streaming rights in return for their money.
AJ's fights were specifically excluded from that deal. Surely you must have noticed that none of them were on DAZN in the UK, even though they were all promoted by Hearn?
DAZN didn't fund Usyk vs AJ 2 so they don't get streaming rights without paying for them, which they declined to do. It isn't that difficult to understand.
Is DAZN coming out ahead thanks to their partnership with Eddie Hearn? Or is he actually hurting their bottom line?
The accounts don’t paint pretty picture to say the least. I’m sure people will tell you “it’s not his fault” though.
You two just can’t accept it can you? Your love for Hearn knows no bounds.

Maybe in your delusional and simple mind.
The lead promoter for DAZN is not in any way accountable for DAZN not being able to acquire the rights to a fight he’s promoting. :lol1:
We’re just laughing at you Matchroom simps at this point.
For a fighter specifically excluded from the DAZN deal.
You don't give up exclusivity to a network who isn't paying for it.
Put it this way, why should DAZN have been given the UK rights to the fight?
Maybe in your delusional and simple mind.

Correct. Hearn isn't accountable because UK rights to AJ's fights were not part of the deal when Eddie linked up with DAZN. That's why AJ vs Usyk 1 wasn't screened on DAZN in the UK either.
Facts are facts and childish insults won't alter them. Like I told you earlier, facts don't care about your feelings.

He literally had no accountability in this, nor the Fury-Whyte fight. It's not about me accepting that he had accountability, it's about you understanding that he didn't.
Fury v Whyte was a mandatory for a Queensberry/Top Rank fighter. Process that for a second - it wasn't his fight! Ultimately it went to a purse bid and Matchroom backed by DAZN offered what they were willing to spend and were outbid by someone willing to spend more. Hearn isn't responsible for delivering fights to DAZN that others promote, nor fights made at purse bid that DAZN doesn't want to pay for!
Hearn also isn't (or at least wasn't) responsible for delivering Joshua fights to DAZN.
Your answer seems to be that, regardless of any deals prior, he should be delivering the Joshua v Usyk rights to DAZN.
Maybe that's why, I'm assuming, you don't run a business. Because you don't give away something for nothing. Networks pay huge money to have exclusivity or priority on big name fighters. DAZN hadn't paid any of that when it came to Joshua. Joshua had a deal with Sky. Then he had no broadcast deal.
Why would he give that away for nothing when so many companies will pay huge for it? You can't possibly think that. It would be extremely naive.
And just a reminder. Hearn is Matchroom, not DAZN. His contract, at the point of this fight being made, was to deliver fights to DAZN, excluding Joshua.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Behave mate…
Don't know what you're laughing at. Toffee blew you out of the water with the points he made there.
Then you're arguing his point. Hearn isn't doing a good enough job securing good fights for DAZN.
Either way I don't really care. I'm almost certain DAZNs deal with Joshua is filled with a bunch of caveats that make reaching the figure touted as nigh impossible. I've already seen this happen twice, once with Wilder (and their laughable multifight deal for him to fight Joshua) and with Canelo (who sued DAZN to be released). I don't think any of these contracts are worth the paper they're written on.
Hearn has never been a particularly great promoter, but its not like DAZN is a particularly good platform either. I'm seeing more and more fighters leave and with Boxxers rise, it seems like Hearn will end up probably frozen out of major play in the UK and relegated to another player a la Warren. Boxing is still massively popular among boomers and gen Xers, so much so that expecting to get eyes on up and comers on a ****ing obscure boxing app seems like utter madness.
In reality is says a lot about the current state of the labour market and British business. Too many beneficiaries of nepotism and not enough educated businessmen. Hearn tried to relicate the UFC model with DAZN in the US but he was going up against Haymon and Arum. Two Harvard educated businessmen with a history promoting some of the biggest fights and artists ever. Even in the UK he's seemingly getting the worst of Warren...but Warren has been in the game for years. He has more experience tha just about anyone on these shores. Hearn by comparison is a glorified telephone salesman. From what ive heard he's never really shown any real success managing any of his father's businesses before boxing. He doesn't show any real expertise in regards to boxing either. Can't seem to decipher a future champion or even talent. Seems like he got a lucky break having Sky's backing when Joshua turned pro and the rest is history.
Boxing works in peaks and downturns and we seem to be in a peak. There's a lot of talent coming through and a lot of en****** wanting to spend their money. In a more competitive landscape we've only come to learn how amateur Hearn actually is. And I'm just talking about heavyweights. There's a guy in my boxing gym who recently signed with Warren. Bricktop may be a shifty bustard but the fact that he was even scouted by Warren shows just how much better Warren and Queensbury is at having their eyes to the ground and building names from grass-roots. That's fundamentally what works in the end.
You call the deal DAZN offered to Wilder laughable, but it would have earned him more money than he ended up getting for fighting Fury instead, which Wilder himself admitted.
