Personally I think teo messed up against Kambosos and lomachenko messed up against Haney
Poor tactical approaches by both.
I think Teo and loma are quite well matched
Upset about what footage? Lomachenko started late and got bodied in the last round as well.
You’d have to be pretty biased to say Lomachenko beat the sh-t out of Teofimo. :lol1:
Difference in skill level once Loma turned up the heat in the later rounds was staggering. Loma tought he had the early rounds in his favor because he was champion, thats how things usually go, champion gets the close rounds.
I think you’re the only person on the planet that has that take.
I have threads on this dude.. Go check them out. I remember now, you were pretty upset about the footage. Just accept it.
That lead up to the Teo/Kambosos fight was one of a kind. Triller bid stupid money for the rights to that one and then came numerous delays and venue issues. They essentially defaulted and Matchroom/DAZN swooped in and got the rights. Teo was having family problems and a sore throat.
Teo was going thru his normal roller coaster of emotions and the fight happened when he was in the "no more tall guys" phase of mental fortitude. There's no in-between with Lopez, he either looks like a world-beater (Commey, Loma, Taylor, etc) or he looks like trash (Martin, Nakatani, Ortiz).
Kambosos caught him on the right night.
Loma was cooking Teo, but started too late.

Yup boxing can be crazy sometimes like that. I feel a prime lightweight Mickey Garcia, prime lightweight Adrien Broner, Teofimo Lopez, and Loma beat Haney but I obviously could be wrong.
I didnt expect Rolly to beat Tank the way he did up until the knockout so boxing is crazy.
lol Rolly was getting beat to the punch and was getting nowhere with his aggressiveness. Go rewatch that fight every exchange they had he was losing. You think he was beating tank because he was moving backwards and was taking his time? Lol that’s crazy.
Loma had a bad shoulder on his jab side. It's the most important punch in boxing. And then Teo was extremely sick when he fought Kambosos. The worst version of Loma fought the best version of Teo, then the worst version of Teo fought the best version of Kambosos. It's not that hard to figure out when you have two guys in the ER or OR the next day...
Kambosos was at his peak and hard work, will power and determination can work wonders (just like Tyson-Douglas). Also, he rattled Teofimo by getting inside his head who then went looking for the KO and got outboxed.
He was the better man, the rest are excuses from Loma's fanbase (like a man of 170 cm. had it hard to have decent weight for his size instead of being underweight). We also don't apply the triangle theory in boxing (or any kind of fighting).
He should be kicking himself for letting all the belts get away.
I can answer this one, check it out. So if one knows boxing, peeps have to remember that it takes time for the body to adjust to moving up to a new weight class.
So simply put, Loma's body wasn't ready for 135 when he fought Teo hence the loss.
In Teo's case, he just severely underestimated Kambo, Teo didn't take the fight seriously (drinking, partying, slamming hoes/cheats on wife), he thought Kambo was another run of the mill EuroBum and lost a close fight. (I personally had Teo winning that fight but wasn't mad at the decision for the Kambo feel good story).
Loma lost to Teo because he gave away the first five or six rounds with inactivity. Too little, too late when he decided to get into the fight. Kambosos took the fight to Teo and edged him out. They are also closer in size to one another.
This right there.
Funny, the same people that give Kambosos very little credit wor a clean win over Teo, give Salido, haney and teo a huge credit for beating Loma in very close fights.
Triangle theories don’t work in boxing sure.
But watching Kambosos’s fights before Teo and last night, I think Teo beats him at least 4 out 5 times.
Good for George for having the fight of his life vs Teo when he needed it most but I think Teo didn’t take him seriously or fight a smart fight. George jumped on him early and Teo’s Dad was clearly incompetent in the corner that night.
At the same time I think Loma’s Dad was giving him bad advice when he fought Teo, telling him to be too cautious. Credit to Teo for having discipline that night though (which he lacked vs Kambosos).
