How much of Fury's decision to retire is based on him thinking he might not get past Usyk?

0. I think Usyk is an interesting fight for Fury, but won’t beat him. And Fury is confident and sees Usyk as no threat at all.

You can only box for as long as the entire process of training excites you or at least is bearable. It is not easy to go through all of this again and again. Maybe he just lost interest for now but may make a comeback if he starts to miss it at a later stage.

Is is possible Fury wouldn't have announced his retirement talk if his next challenger wasn't Usyk? I think it's more likely he'd had fought AJ now if he were still the other main champ. OMG, Usyk has LESS of a chance than Whyte did. Fury WOULD NOT respect him. Anyone thinking otherwise doesn’t understand boxing.

He'll fight again. He's having a good time and enjoys being apart of big events. He seems to like putting on a show for the fans. He knows the fans want to see him fight Joshua (with or without it being an undisputed fight).

I dont think it would have anything to do with it, he has just become tired of the sport and all that goes with his status.

Fury walks right through Usyk. Hell him and Joshua was an even fight after 8 rounds. Joshua busted up Usyk and was pulling his punches the entire fight.

This is laughable. Usyk is way too small for Fury and doesn’t have power. Fury could box him from the outside, maul him and rough him up on the inside. Usyk went tough with Chisora and the first 8 rounds or whatever of Bellew. Give me a break. It’ll always be someone.
