Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he had much of a shot any way but the man came in looking like he was in good shape for his standards but was completely fooked after 3 rounds. I've seen him fumble his way through more than that while looking in worse shape. I know Fury is good at sapping energy and all that but that battery drained double quick
I think he well over did it in Portugal. I'm sure he spent a good bit of nervous energy too with it being his big chance in the big arena too. Like I said it's no excuse I never gave him much of a chance.
He got outclassed that's all. His only chance was being heavy and finding one punch KO. He got KTFOed by one punch lmao.
It was another masterclass no doubt, Whyte is a bit overrated by some but Fury made it look like a piece of cake, so damn easy.
Tyson Fury puts a fair bit of mental pressure on fighters in the ring, making them overthink, that adds to fatigue.
That’s the difference between top fighters and good fighters.
It’s like when Tony Bellew faced Usyk, actually he was able to be competitive for five rounds or so but his brain and body were basically having to work flat out just to be relatively competitive and you can’t do that for 12 rounds at that level, you’ll wear out.
Whyte was out of his depth in there tonight and that’s an exhausting place to be
Very good post, I've just watched the whole fight over and I can see exactly what you are saying, Whyte was never comfortable, never settled in to a rhythm and spent all his time reacting to Fury's lead which is confusing at the best of times. He really didn't have a clue what to do at any point.

Now that's a good answer. He's come in at a weight based on expecting Cronk Fury to come in similar to the last Wilder fight and its done him over a bit. I just wasnt expecting to start to gas so early.
Yeah well it's understandable why he came prepared for a clinch ..look at the last two wilder fights ..wilder was having small success and the main thing that contributed to his inevitable demise wasn't furys ultra boxing skill or punch power but the physical demand the clinches took out of him
Take away the clinches and wilder could have potentially been dangerous until the final bell of both fights
Whyte seen that as one of furys biggest strengths and came in prepared for it ...i mean he did look good in the clinches but fury came in ready to box the way he boxed chisoras ears off in their second fight with minimal clinches
He's a moron. Pumped himself up with Dianabol which gives him fake strength and then when he has to actually fight he has no cardio at all and no strength because he can't juice dbol in the lead up to a fight and all that fake strength just disappears.
but...but...he can bench press 400 lbs
Nope.
He came in too heavy just like I said in the weigh in results thread.
I don't think people understand how much 254lbs is unless you're like 6ft6/7+ like Fury is. I'm 6ft4 280lbs and I'm blowing out of my ass after 6 rounds of sparring, now imagine doing those in front 94k people against Tyson ****ing Fury.
Whyte is an idiot. Always has been. He should have focused on being light and slippery at about 243-245lbs. And he was stiff as ****. Why the **** would you bulk up to fight a guy like Fury? If he wanted to legit prevent fury from leaning, he should have spent some time doing some wrestling/muay thai clinch work with legit fighters.
I am 7'11' weight 375 lbs with a 28" waist and I can go more then 6 rds
He wasn't on peds he just went in thinking Fury would be heavy and didn't want to give too much away in a clinch and end up gassed like wilder
Fact is he gassed himself and made his legs cement ...he rolled the dice the wrong way
And fury came in lighter which was a double curse for whyte heavy strategy as fury would be harder to land on
