So are you Pro-American Wilder fans/Euro haters going to root for Caleb Plant?

Larry does live rent free in y'all heads...lol.... y'all stay bringing his name up. But as far the topic. I'm rooting for Celeb.... But Canelo gat this and I'm not really a fan of Plant.

It'll be just like Wilder fights no one will show up and few Americans will know of his existence. When they look up Plants career it'll say his highlight was fighting Canelo Alvarez whether he wins or loses and then back to anonymity.

The truth right here. I don't give him much of a chance against Canelo, either. Too generic as you say. For me, fight doesn't even have any chemistry. Isn't it a fight week? It's interesting. As I said, Plant holds appeal with casuals, so mixing that with Canelo's broad appeal should turn into some really nice PPV numbers. But, in terms of boxing heads, there is zero buzz as compared to the BJS fight. No one knows BJS in America, but around here he's a polarizing figure so there was a lot of hype going around. I'm torn because Canelo I think is overrated. People act like like guy is unbeatable. I'm talking respected, professional boxers believe that.. stupid. Then on the other hand I feel like Plant has the physicality to take the fight from him. But Plant has Al's hand up his @$$ like a puppet.. so I'm torn about it

exactly..Im a Canelo fan so why would I not root for him?He is clearly the better boxer and Plant just seems like a clown to me Honestly when I saw that video of Plant fighting some overweight kid in the hood, I lost any potential fan ability. He looked like he was struggling to really beat the guy. I can't see him troubling this version of Canelo, but I've been wrong before. We will see.

I'm American, but that doesn't really influence who I root for in fights. Since I started watching boxing my favorite fighters have been Foreman, Holyfield (it was tough for me watching them go at it), Chavez, De la Hoya, Calzaghe, and GGG to name a few. Since the Hunter fight, Usyk has been my favorite active fighter. I guess I'm trying to say I don't care from where a fighter hails so long as I enjoy watching them (personality plays a factor as well). When Wilder went off the deep end after the second Fury fight, I found it hard to root for the guy, but hey, that's me. For the fight in question I'm pulling for Plant because +600 was pretty tempting. I probably flushed that money down the toilet, but maybe Plant will pull off a shocker.

Levels to the amount of steroids that canelo is using. That's the new mantra now, "There are levels to this", as if that has anything to do with who you root for and who you WANT to win.
