Ortiz also failed a drug test and got himself removed from the WBA rankings derailing a mandatory shot at AJ.
people don’t like facts on here.
and of course, WTF does Ortiz bring to the table? Nothing.
stop it. IT was proven over and over. They MADE a $7 mnillion offer to Ortiz.... and then they disappeared. He went to fight Wilder for far less instead.

LOL.... the people writing the checks. Notice they did not deny that. And Ortiz probably did not even know about it. Blame his management.
There was a lot of politics involved with that particular decision. Ortiz was being pulled 2 different directions, and the fight was short notice.
The fact remains he signed with hearn to face AJ, and Hearn never wanted to make the fight. His whole job has been protecting AJ, don't you see that????

Why did Ortiz sign with Hearn, only to leave him because he couldn't get the AJ fight? lol
yeah Ortiz also said AJ was a pus.sy who was scared to fight him. Who ya gonna believe. The protected little princess or the other guy

AJ did avoid Ortiz, I agree
Real murderers row he faced, with all those 40 year old shot men, at home, no less. And handpicked refs when needed (Parker). what a fighter

Its a shame we never got the fight in like 2018 when it would have been the biggest boxing match of the post Floyd/Pac era. But yeah, theres a logical opportunity for it if AJ loses to Usyk again, its not 1/4th of the fight it would have been but its better than them not fighting at all.
He avoided the rest of the division, so that doesn't say much. :lol1:

Wilder can go home and be a family man.
At least Wilder's two losses came to the best HW in the world. AJ's came to the 3rd best and probably the 10th best or so. What a guy
Why on earth would a fight of that maginatude be on an undercard. Christ the stupid **** people say here.
I feel like you and I are two of the only sane people on here
yeah, out of the 4, AJ is BY FAR the most marketable fighter... And of course keep in mind, you have AJ vs USYK 2 which will be HUGE money.... and to get the 4.... You need Top Rank, PBC, Matchroom and Egis to all come together.... nothing like that has been done before IIRC.

So true. Despite the losses of Wilder and Joshua, each one of Wilder, Fury, Joshua, and Usyk fighting the other is a massive fight. I hope we can get Fury vs Usyk and Wilder vs Joshua but that is pretty unlikely.

For the fans. let say 100 million.
35million for Fury. 25 million for Usyk
20 million for AJ and Wilder
Let's do this. It would shatter the box office and might even break Pac-Mayweather PPV.
