Why are there so many weird conspiracy theorist boxing fans?

Conspiracy theorists, those influenced by their shot surroundings and disappointment that their man love :heart:did not get the prize which is where boxing comes in. Their man love :heart:blinds them to reality so they come up with a theory that involves others being mean and nasty to their man. That then legitimatises their hate for those supposed mean and nasty people so they then can say what they like about them. All legit in their troubled minds :trink26:

Idk why some people are so quick to label someone a conspiracy theorist. I mean this is boxing we are talking about here - a sport well know for its corruption and shady practices. They forget. Corruption is the bedrock of boxing..

Because so many questions Left unanswered..

Until theres true regulation in boxing, as former Senator McCain wanted to make happen, boxing fans will continue to see this once sport beloved by all, continue to be withered down to what it is bnow, a niche sport.

I think conspiracy theories in general are on the rise because of social media and people can easily look for the "truth" they want to see among like minded people on the internet. Add to that a sport that is essentially unregulated and with a history of corruption, inconsistency and incompetence. We see bad judging, bad reffing, bad commission rulings almost every week. Decisions are made for financial gain over the integrity of the sport. Boxers have loaded handwraps, loaded gloves, spiked water, used mystery substances, consumed PEDs, feigned injury, taken dives and done plenty of other shady behavior. It's a perfect storm for conspiracy.

No one would deny boxing is corrupt to high heaven. It doesn’t take much logical thinking to realize why conspiracies are abound.

Conspiracies are born out of evidence being supressed. Every time a person is going to open up about the Clintons, they get suicided. Look at how easily 9/11 unravels. I can go on and on. As for boxing, it's is own worst enemy. It already has many enemies within it. Haymon is one of them.

Because conspiracy theory addicts tend to be low class and low IQ individuals and that description overlaps with the description of most boxing fans

Because there’s too much dick riding in boxing and you can never get an honest assessment. Every opinion is agenda driven. that's the problem with boxing. The fans!!! They don't hold their favorite fighters accountable for bs. They diss other fighters for doing the same exact thing their favorite fighter does. I've stated the past year or so up here, I don't like anyone from 135and above, but maybe 5 fighters at the most. Canelo, Crawford, Spence, Jermall Charlo(not Jermell), GGG, Fury, Wilder, AJ, Teofimo Lopez, Tank, are cherry picking pieces of shit. And when you like a young fighter that fights his way to the top and seek the challenges early, once he becomes a top dog, he develops into one of these type of guys. I like Boots and Ortiz, but once they get that signature win and become big names, they're gonna start this A-side bs and cherry picking like everyone else does.. Boxing is a goddamn joke with too many fucking titles and crooked promoters

To be fair, you can say that boxing fans come up with more conspiracy theories than fans of other sports. And that would be true. But is any sport more corrupt and questionable than boxing? Do the best compete against the best? Are fighters on a level playing field? Do the organisations organise the sport well? Do fighters do what they should? The answer is no to all of the above. With boxing it's not a case of deciding whether any conspiracies are true, it's deciding which ones aren't.

Because most boxing fans are idiots. It's why promoters take advantage of them.
