I agree to an extent. But its blatantly clear carnelo is the biggest diva in boxing history. Hearn spoiling him by kissing the ground he walks on and ridiculous paydays he doesn't deserve. I wouldn't be surprised if carnelo expected the same treatment from haymon.
I don't disagree with what you say. He definitely seems to be a bit of a diva, and he gets paid incredibly well. He's benefited, in and out of the ring, from his position within the sport. He's also had incredibly impressive career. I'm not a fan but I acknowledge his accomplishments.
It's obvious what PBCs plan was all along. Plant gets "injured", AL replaces him with another PBC fighter of his choosing and voila, PBC got Canelo for two fights instead of one. It's clear to see Canelo saw this and made it fool proof for them to try to pull this on him with the Claus and that's why the fight didn't get made.
That’s because you’re a goddamn idiot.
I dunno, something tells me there's more to this than what Kim tweeted and what Plant stated. The saying goes "the devil is in the details".
For the record, I don't think there's a party at blame unless I see something definitive that changes my mind. My guess it's mostly because there is a lack of trust by both sides that everything was being done in good faith. If there was a previous working relationship between the two parties then it might have gone smoother.

So Canelo walks and PBC is in the clear. What was the problem? PBC is screwing Plant over this clause?
If Canelo was sticking to the date he wanted (something people are bringing up because he now seems willing to change it for Bivol but not for Plant) then there would still not be an acceptable 40 million dollar opponent for Canelo at that time.
Canelo wanted his September date though, right? Who would be the 40 million dollar replacement with Charlo having an injured hand and David Benavidez having a fight scheduled?
