Also, the idea that you have to "take" the belts from the champion is a bad take. How should that factor in a judge's scorecard? It's a fight like any other and shouldn't be judged differently. I believe a draw was fair, instead of having a unified champ with controversy, either way. We can get to see them again. It was a very good close fight with no let down. Fought at a fast pace with a lot power punches thrown. Castaño was the busiest but Jermell imo, landed the hardest and most telling punches. Stay safe

How the fuc.k 3 judges score the fight so different? Judges should be people who know something about boxing. 3 judges should see the same fight very similar. Two of them scored the fight very similar, and they had different views. Only one swinging round. The third one however need to be taken to the doctor. Or his bank account needs to be check it.

Really good fight. Both guys had to dig deep. I thought Castano won. Credit to Jermell for showing respect and humility. He fought a good fight but I think he was a bit too unwilling to engage and Castano landed more consistently.

No, Charlo was a beaten man. You could see it in his demeanor and body language. He hit Castano with his best shots -- even stunned the Argentinian -- and he was still coming forward. That demoralized Charlo. I respect Charlo for being respectful and showing humility, but he got beat. He got edged but It was far from an arse whipping. Let them do it again. Their WILL be a KO on the next one.

They should all have similar score cards. Made different by one or two rounds give or take, not one scoring it by a landslide to boxer A, and another to boxer B by a landslide. Another thing is I don’t give any meaning to the commentators scorecards but most of them are bias. That fight was a clear win for Castano. He landed more punches in each round than Charlo, Charlo hurt him a few times but he also buzz Charlo a few times too.

I don’t like to score close fights when I’m watching it for the first time. It ruins the whole experience for me, plus for this fight I wasn’t totally focused for most of it. I was still watching the basketball game. But I’ll go with Steve Farhood’s score and he had it a draw. People get swayed by the effort especially if they didn’t think much of Castano going in. People think since he’s doing better than we thought he must be winning the fight. Not always the case.
