Always disappointed seeing these B-side challengers not performing well as they promise.
Will this be another mismatched fight resulting in Castano fading away into oblivion or what?
Didn't understand what Charlo did in this fight.
Why he kept himself get trapped at the edge of the ring boggled my mind.
Castano did exactly what was expected of him and that was were he scored most of his points.
I really do not have the answer why Charlo fought the way he did last night.
I thought that was one of the game plans; bait Castano and make him pay.
It was disastrous, but he kept doing it! I don't know man.
He could have just stayed in the middle of the ring, stick his jab, back up Castano, etc.
Maybe he was fighting scared.... I don't know. Only he has the answer.
Castanyo (that's how it is pronounced and should be spelled as such when he's fighting in non-hispanic locations)
needs to hone on his power.
No, it shouldn't that is stupid, small-minded and disrespectful.
If Castano can get in the inside it gives him a really good chance to pull it off and luckily Charlo does seem to loose focus on occasions. He does have a sneaky right hand but he needs to plant his feet more in order to get more power into it and I'm sure if Castano gets stopped it's going to be by a body shot
I expect Castano to give Charlo all sorts of problems with his pressure and workrate but I suspect he will get stopped & probably brutally.
He just leaves too many openings.
I don't see this tight guard or solid defense people allude to with Castano. He gets hit clean way too often.
I think Charlo will get a come from behind stoppage win, a bit of a reoccurring theme really.
At some point Jermell's power won't bail him out in a fight. Decent bet that this is the fight where it doesn't bail him out, but I wouldn't personally bet on it. Charlo 2 to 1 favorite imo.
Castanyo (that's how it is pronounced and should be spelled as such when he's fighting in non-hispanic locations)
needs to hone on his power. He's feather-fisted, have a hard time dropping the opponent even when he's giving it all he's got.
Hire Memo Heredia or something.
I think Castano will win a close fight on activity but charlo gets the decision with the harder shots landed.
Great answer!
I think the same. We’ve seen Jermell struggle a few times and Castano is legit.
Charlo gets the job done with relative ease if he fights smart. 118-110. I threw $55 on Charlo to win $20.
Charlo can win. But don't underestimate Brian. If he's down on the scorecards, he'll fight like a lion the last 6 rounds. Will give his life to win.
I think Brian wins by SD/UD. 7-5 type of fight.
I'll be watching UFC Fight Night because I can't even watch the ****ing thing. Googled everywhere to watch it in the UK. No luck, so I'm stuck watching naked men grapple. Boxing is becoming the most frustrating sport to follow and the fans are treated like absolute dog-****.
You need to go out more often bro. Talk to people in your nearest downtown area. I'm sure many people in those communities are able to watch Bollywood movies, cricket games, soccer, you name it, live for free via the internet. Talk to them. They'll solve your problem.
Styles makes fights and Castano's style is all wrong for a slugger like Jermell Charlo. However, it all depends on Castano's chin. If he can take a good ass whooping, then us boxing fans are in for a real treat. I got Charlo by late round stoppage or by unanimous decision.

Haven't seen anything special about this Castanyo guy.
He's not as colourful as fellow Argentinians Maidana, Martinez, et al.
Matthysse at 154 would have been a more intriguing fight.
This is another showcase fight for the Charlo twin.
Hyuuuge upset if he wins.
Lara vs Charlo would have been more interesting to see.
Mind-boggling to me why that fight just won't effing happen
after all these years.
