At this point for anybody 30 and under when they will hear the name Floyd Mayweather they will think about his loss or non-win to Logan "0-1 Youtuber" Paul. They won't think or know about his wins over DLH, Mosley, Hatton, even the Pacquaio fight seems like a distant memory now.
The boxing legacy he's leaving for his kids and their generation is that he couldn't put away Logan Paul.
Was that worth it Floyd? Was the money that good? Was the money you already made really not enough?
Yes.
Manny mentality: Fans > himself
Floyd mentality: Fans < himself
Not really.
Manny prioritizes his fans. Proof of that is his way of fighting and the fights he gave us. Money was always a side thing that he could use to build homes and hospitals. Floyd fights for himself. Money is his driving force. I feel sorry for Floyd because in the end, he will feel lonely and by himself.

No manny mentality- fight to earn money.
floyd mentality- fight to earn money
every pro- fight to earn money
Floyd feared losing more than his desire to beat the best at their best. His pride and ego couldn’t handle a loss.
Again you don’t believe this. You know what he meant but you’re going to with this.
smdh.
No. Because history will look kindly on Manny Pacquiao for keeping the sport alive while Floyd consistently tries to undermine it for his benefit.
Dude you really think manny is fighting for the sport and not himself?
lmfao.
Would you be embarrassed for Manny and Crawford if Floyd/jake sells more?
No. Because history will look kindly on Manny Pacquiao for keeping the sport alive while Floyd consistently tries to undermine it for his benefit.
Of course he does, that's all he cares about, his money. He doesn't care about legacies. This will be the fight the casuals will remember him by twenty years from now.
Even you don’t really believe this.
I would be embarassed for Floyd if he ends up fighting Jake Paul next year at the same time Pacquiao fights Crawford.
Would you be embarrassed for Manny and Crawford if Floyd/jake sells more?
He lost a lot of his stock value for sure. He can't have another PPV circus after that dismal performance. Heck Logan is still talking trash about him and reaching millions of people.

Pre-internet things were easy to forget or brush over. This exhibition has defined Floyd's legacy with the general public in the under 30 crowd.
Also Ali was known and it still known for as much as what he did out of the ring as in it, for Floyd's sake he hopes his legacy is not defined by the things he's gotten into outside of the ring.
This generation has something wonderful: Gorgeous women who can crack! Man oh man! how sexy! In my day there were few and far between and the women that could hit, looked more like truck drivers.

It would shock me in the most wonderful way if these Millenials bothered to become real boxing fans and learned about Floyd... watched him at 125 when he was at his prime, and learned about the sport. I doubt they will. These exhibitions could be a way of drawing in a new generation of fight fans... Im torn. Boxing causes head trauma...Maybe its better to take up Curling. Yet how will my son's kids learn how to fight hard for what they believe in? when they need to? picking up a curling broom?
Of course he does, that's all he cares about, his money. He doesn't care about legacies. This will be the fight the casuals will remember him by twenty years from now.
Clutching at straws.
Floyd’s professional boxing career ended 4 years ago.
Unless he returns to Boxing, nothing he does will effect or change what he did as a pro boxer.
It’s not just the money, it’s the cameras, media and ppl with his name on their lips, he is an attention junkie and he also loves money.
So yes it was very much worth it as far as he was concerned.
Totally; when people think of Ali, the first thing they think of is his garbage exhibition against that wrestler. Totally damaged his legacy.
