Been watching Spence and it seems to me that unless he can establish a jab he becomes frustrated.
That's why we see Him fight dirty with low blows and elbows if he can't get it pumping
Porter is a perfect example, Spence tried to use the jab but cause Porter was boxing for the first 3-4 rounds Spences jab wasn't a factor.
Once Spences jab goes he becomes just a brute force using planted uppercuts and body blows.
Spence is very good at disguising his bodyshots to left hooks cause they both come in at the same speed almost at the same height.
Saying that Manny is one of the best to counter and time all his opponents jabs.
He will be showing Spence alot if angles similar to Porter but with better accuracy and harder punching.
If Spence relies on his step back defense, well we all saw what happened to Keef in the 3rd round when he kept doing that.
So saying all that I have Manny winning g this fight either by Knock out with a body shot or TKO from taking too much damage.
Spence really is just a straight up and down fighter.
I can understand why He wanted Spence instead of Bud.
lol Thurman was broken in a 100 places, its common knowledge but you idiots pretend he was 3 yrs ago with no surgery no injuries, and made of steel, sorry Thurman was a cherry pick based on injuries and nearly getting stopped by a B grader .
This is why Manny was betting favorite.
a lot of excuses are coming out these days.. :rofl:{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"https:\/\/www.boxingscene.com\/forums\/core\/image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAPABAP\/\/\/wAAACH5BAEKAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw=="}
you're right everyone come prepared to fight... thurman just lost to a legend.
Pls learn the game. The guy is in his prime.
Here's Keith a grown ass man after reflecting for 2 years, admitting who was the better man that night. He did his best against Manny and fell short.
So Stop making excuses for a grown ass prime fighter who lost and learn the game.

Yes, fighting in the biggest fight of their life. Off course they will come 110% prepared. That's a once in a lifetime thing for them to have a chance to defeat the big dog.

i hope you are right as i want pacquiao to win but hes 42 years old and a good 10 years past his best. whether that still makes him good enough to beat spence we shall see.
Never said, I'm right. All I'm saying this a pick 'em fight. Don't right of Pacquiao. An old timer can still dance. At this stage like I've been saying old man Pac has a 50/50 chance with Spence.
Hence, a great fight to watch. It's going to be a close fight to the end.
You give full credit and you take it back by saying Thurman was out for years.. Dude, your being fickle.. You can't have it both ways bruh..
Like you said, Pac is old.. There's no excuse for a prime Thurman. A prime fighter as the word entails is the best version of a man. Even if he was injured before or what.. They heal, they get better fast. That's why they are called prime.
No excuses.. He did his best he prepped up. He lost period. Don't act like it's not the case.. Pac was an old dog fighting a prime fighter. That's the only thing that matters to this fight.
If I was in my prime, and I fought an old man and said I didn't come prepared that's why the old man won.. That's just clown talk.. A prime fighter had all the edge to win against an old timer. Complaining about it is just silly talk. Sorry bud, but it's just lame to even bring it up.
Thurman was all out ready for that fight. 02 chamber. 2 trainers. The works and still lost to an old timer. Like you said give full credit to Pac. So stop whining.

No, don't get me wrong Pac can still hit. The last thing to go on an aging fighter is his punching power and Pac is going to need that power in order to fight Spence off of him.
Now as far as Keith Thurman is concerned; I've always gave Manny full credit for his victory over Thurman. Even though he was coming off a two year layoff with an elbow surgery. However, let's not be disingenuous and kid ourselves here. The man has had only two fights in the past 4 years.
So what should that tell us about his current status? It should tell us that obviously he is not a healthy fighter. He has been inactive for two years now with no fights scheduled and hasn't fought anyone since Manny Pacquiao. Therefore, he is considered a semi-retired fighter.

We'll see. It's always the case. When someone demolishes an opponent. They become shot lol
Another big factor that People seem to not realize. According to Algeiri who has felt both punches. Pac has more power than Spence. Meaning..
If you know the saying by Tyson, "Everyone has a plan until they get hit."
If Pac gets that power shots that crumbled Thurman on the first round, and made him run for cover with that nuclear body shot.. Let's see If Spence will handle that pain better than Thurman. We'll see. A lot of what ifs.. That's why it's a great fight. :boxing:No, don't get me wrong Pac can still hit. Thurman was and is a shot fighter and yet Pac still barely defeated him by way of split decision victory. I agree it's a competitive fight; Especially early on and I may have to eat crow afterwards but I just can't see Pac's 42 year old legs holding up for twelve rounds without getting tired against Erroll Spence's superior stamina, conditioning and body work.

No one is saying this is a cake walk for anyone.
This is a competitive fight. If you can't come to that sense.. Then something is wrong with you..
Yeah, father time can hit any fighter anytime.. That's a question Mark.. We don't know that yet.. but if it's the Pac that fought Thurman. That's more than enough to say this will be a challenging fight.
Here watch one of the best trainers in boxing explain it to you.

No but Father time will. People are forgetting that Pac is almost 43 years old now. Come to your senses and reality people. There's no way that a 42 year old Manny Pacquiao is defeating an Erroll Spence, Jr. Simply because at this stage of his career he just doesn't have that much gas left in the tank to move laterally in and out for twelve rounds. There is just too mileage and wear and tear on his body at this point to do it.

Didn't you watch the Thurman fight?
Here's a clip of his In and out, punching Thurman from all angles.. He does it in spurts now. He's old off course, but he still does it bud.
@ 4:43 Pac dances around Thurman in and out.

Lol not even a fan of Manny but even I can see he busted Thurman up so good I remember Keef landing some big shots down the stretch though but it doesnt matter what shape Thurman was in Pac had no business winning that fight against a prime WW it was a great win
I hope at least that version turns up for Spence
Thurman was basically done after he got hit by that bodyshot from Collazo and eventually got married, no passion more for the sport, he barely survived vs Josesito Lopez and still had only a razorclose loss to Pacquiao.
https://youtu.be/DJPbVNoheQM?t=43
This is a 42+ year old Pacquiao. If he was 7-8 years younger we could talk about this, but the only one in his prime here is Spence, the much bigger, taller and longer Spence. There is a reason Spence is a big favorite, even though Pacquiao has way more fans betting on him. Even if the fight is close, they will give it to Spence, because Spence is younger and Haymon wants to build Spence up, its obvious they use Paquiao to build up Spence, that was the plan all along. Paquiaos chances are very slim, Spence has to have a terrible night and Paqiuao has to fight like he is 10 years younger.
lol Thurman fought through the body shot and was winning the fight against Collazo anyways and yet.. He's done.. okay..
Not to mention he was highly motivated and in the best shape of his life, using all the best equipment, 2 trainers, the fight of his life fighting Pac and yet he lost to granpa.. but he's done anyways lol..
If Spence loses.. He's done as well.. since he had a car accident even if he won over someone like Danny Garcia who wasn't in a car accident.. It never ends..
Give props to who wins. Young guns heals fast. Especially prime fighters. Old folks don't.

what in and out movement is pacquiao going to have at 42? can people please stop hyping this like its a proper match up.
Tell the truth, your opinion of this fight is a direct effect of there not being any Caucasian fighters in it.
