Charlo
Andrade
GGG
Benavidez
Plant
Bivol
Beterbiev
List them 1-7 and use any criteria you want to list them. So even if Plant isn't necessarily the fight you want, the fact it will be for undisputed, you can rank it higher than you would if it wasn't a four belt showdown.
Go!
Benavidez
Plant
Bivol (says he'll do 168)
Charlo
Andrade
GGG (too old now :()
Beterbiev (I'd rank him on top but I don't want any weight handicaps and he's just too big without them)
1. Plant (in order to unify all the 168 lb belts)
2. The winner of Charlo vs Benavidez (so that an attractive challenger emerges)
3. The winner of Andrade vs Golovkin (these guys have to fight someone already)
4. The winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol (if Canelo is expected to fight at a disadvantage at 175 lbs then at least let it be against a unified champion)
Problem is the vast majority of these guys aren’t gonna risk losing their place in the Canelo sweepstakes. There’s a lot of guys between 160-175 who are just content taking easier fights and hoping they get the Canelo call.
You’re totally right though, if GGG/Charlo/Andrade/Benavidez etc fought, us fans would be clamouring for Canelo to face the winner.
Maybe if your only wish is to see Canelo potentially lose
I think that fight would be the most competitive and it’s possibly the only one I see him potentially losing. If I’m honest I just don’t see Plant, Andrade or Benavidez even testing him. Other guys I see troubling him but I can’t really see them winning.
I wouldn’t demand he fights Beterbiev though, he’s giving up a lot of size facing Beterbiev at 175, but if it’s a case of which one I’d most like to see it would have to be Canelo-Beterbiev for me.

Beterbiev
Bivol
GGG 3
Charlo
Plant
Andrade
Benavidez.
That’s irrespective of belts, chronology etc and largely based on which fights I’d find the most interesting and also entertaining.
Any of the 7 is a good opponent in fairness.
Is that your order?
I’m surprised so many people have Beterbiev low.
That’s the most compelling matchup IMO.
No, I just listed in order MWs, SMWs and finally LHWs.
Charlo
Andrade
GGG
Benavidez
Plant
Bivol
Beterbiev

Once ginger gets rid of Plant, I'd like to see him fight Charlo next. Charlo is overrated as hell and Canelo would wreck him, but it'd be a fun scrap while it lasts.
Not interested in GGG 3. His old ass would get destroyed, it wouldn't even be competitive, that ship has sailed
Beterbiev's not a realistic fight
Maybe Bivol can fight at 168 and be healthy, but not Beterbiev.
Bivol and Benavides are the most intriguing fights to make imo
Canelo won't move to LHW, he'll rule the SMW division and these peasants need to come to him or there won't be a fight
Charlo
Andrade
GGG
Benavidez
Plant
Bivol
Beterbiev

I'm gonna go a bit different and rank them in the order I want them to occur:
1. Plant (get the full unification in there first)
2. GGG (before he gets too old)
3. Andrade (move up)
4. Charlo (move up)
5. Bivol (move down)
6. Benavidez (give him time to hit his prime)
7. Beterbiev (at 175)
The only one that could beat him that could realistically be made would be Charlo IMO. Reminds me of GGG in a lot of ways.
What about GGG himself should he be given another shot?
Charlo
Andrade
GGG
Benavidez
Plant
Bivol
Beterbiev

I have a counter question for you guys....in your estimate who on this list stands the best chance of winning?
1. Charlo (imo the most well-rounded out of the bunch...gets in and out, strong, and very athletic)
2. Benavidez (taller pressure fighter that wont quit like the UK fighters....interesting fight because havent seen Canelo fight a BIGGER come-forward fighter, no Callum Smith isnt that)
3. Plant (only care for this because it is for undisputed....Plant is basically the American BJS)
4. Andrade (no power but has an awkward style....would be interesting fight for the first 6 rounds)
5. GGG (yawn)
Not including Bivol or Beterbiev as I think Canelo has no business at 175....UNLESS the champions there all fight each other and Canelo just fights the one holding the belts.
He should fight plant next and grab the other belt. Then I’d like to see him against Benavidez. I’m not interested in him fighting at 175. Dudes small.
