Greatest Middle Weight of All-Time imo
He doesn't even have a decisive win over his best opponent and didn't want a rubber match to prove who the better man was.
if you could get Bud out of your mind, you would enjoy boxing more. Big fan of Bud here, but Canelo losing to Floyd gave him the confidence/incentive to take risks. Sadly, Bud hasn't...
He vacated his title twice to avoid mandatories and fight bums both times
thats like the essence of ducking
Canelo is putting together an all time resume. He’s only 30, if he stays active and fights near his peak for 4 or 5 more years we could be talking about a top 5 all time fighter. His resume speaks for itself now.
Didn't mean to come aggressive here, I just honestly think that Crawford could have done so much more already (without dissing his resume). I think he beats Spence and tops at 154. I was super impressed after he beat Prescott, came out of nowhere for me. Still waiting for big signature fights, hopefully they come before he declines.
Agree, Canelo passed him on my pound for pound list tonight. If Bud wants to take it back he has to fight Porter or Spence.
I only mentioned Bud because the TS dissed him in this thread.
This was a good win for Canelo, I'll give him his credit. He stopped an undefeated world champion with a style he had had trouble with in the past, that's all we were asking of Canelo Alvarez.

He was groomed to be a superstar then earned it anyways
that's how i feel about it. Couldn't really stand him early on; was buitl by a TV network essentially, and really got me biased against him. Now I have nothing but respect for him. Reminds of Cotto in a weird way (felt the same early on about him): professional, no indulgences, delivers big fights, can't help but respect him now.

How come BJS gets all this credit but Postol, Indongo, Gamboa, Horn don't? They were also undefeated champions, but everyone calls them bums.
Why is Saunders great for the resume but not those guys? What did Saunders do to earn it, beat flat footed basic David Lemieux?
