Far back enough, all of our ancestors were similar, nothing to be ashamed of. But you have no real understanding of history. US slaves were sold by their own black people in Africa. People of all backgrounds and races have been enslaved throughout time. If you still blame white people for some predicament in your life or in the life of your people, you're losing and drinking too much kool-aid. The history of the relationship between blacks and whites has not been perfect. But acting like all of the interaction has been poor overall for blacks is just not a serious viewpoint.

Victimhood mentality? Channeling all that anger and resentment and turning it into fuel seems like a positive thing to me. No one would want to be a slave.
