Terence 'Dud' Crawford is the biggest Hype Job since Matthysse

Matthysse was always overhyped. He couldn't even decisively beat a 33 year old Zab who went on to be dominated by Khan, Danny, and Paulie in 3 of his next 4 fights. But yea, Crawford needs to actually fight someone A level, in their prime.

Crawford is vastly overrated and over hyped for his trash resume. His best win is either Postol or inactive and blown up Gamboa, who made him do the stanky leg lol. His resume consists of b class or lower trinket holders, faded former champs and bums. His welterweight resume is pure dog ****. Horn, peg legged Jose Bumavidez, washed up glass jaw Amir Khan, Eurobum Mean Machine, and washed up weight drained quitter Brook. He lost rounds to peg legged Jose Bumavidez and had to wait for his bum leg to give out before stopping him. He had to lowblow washed up glass jaw Amir Khan to stop him. Eurobum Mean Machine dropped him lol. Washed up weight drained quitter Brook damn near closed his eye before he quit. Crawford re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top guys. It's the usual Top Rank protection program plan, have a sheeit fight lined up, use another fighters name to fake a call out, fight the sheeit fight, and the morons will believe the guy that was called out is ducking when in reality the Top Rank hype job is ducking. The sheeit fights and resume prove the real ducker. How a guy is ducking but fighting tougher competition is comical. Dumbass fangimps fall for these tactics all the time. Asking for 50/50 then 60/40 your way is a clear pricing yourself out when the other guy draws more and has more belts that are more prestigious. Using triangle theories doesn't work in boxing since styles make fights. When your own promoter says they are losing $ on you and you don't help promote fights, why rush to negotiate a fight, especially when you are pricing yourself out already? Crawford is saying Virgil Ortiz needs to earn a fight with him by beating Eurobum Mean Machine. Well Crawford needs to use his own logic to earn a shot at the top welterweight by beating a top 5 welterweight. Shawn Porter wants to fight Crawford too. But Crawford is scared and ducking. This site tends to love that kind of fighter more than anything. Neither his skill set, accomplishments or resume warranted the level of hype he got imo. I agree. Bud isn't very realistic when he lists he reasons for why he deserves a higher split than Spence, Spence does the better numbers and he holds more belts. But let's not pretend Spence wants it. He has even admitted to putting Crawford to the back of the queue and claimed he didn't know why Crawford would be at his fights. He also named a list of fights he wanted to have and Crawfords name wasn't even on it. It could not be more obvious Spence dont want that fight. Why should he not? He was OK to rush for a Lightweight in Mikey Garcia, Garcia didn't have to win a world title 1st, Garcia didn't have to run through the rest of the PBC Welters to earn his chance. Why would he go for Crawford? Well its one of the best fights to be made in the sport. Why wouldn't he want that scalp on his resume? ​​​ Mikey was a bigger draw than Crawford then though.

Exactly. Personally I think Pacquiao was screwed over a bit in that fight but regardless it was a tough encounter. Bud Crawford then went and destroyed Horn with ease. But the haters don't want to even consider that. If its not PBC it don't count for chit to them. I think this is very fair and a lot more than people wish to acknowledge. I don't look at the scores always I look at the fight. And the world knows what happened that night. No matter how you scored it, pacquiao got hit a lot, was very uncomfortable with Horn's pressure, and was probably the toughest night he'd had since the Floyd fight. But the DICAFS won't admit this
