I haven't lost all respect for Golovkin but I feel like he constantly shoots himself in the foot as far as career trajectory. Takes too many liberties when choosing opponents. Post-Canelo he should have been more ambitious, bold and either tried to run through 168 or corner Saunders, Andrade, Charlos into a fight
his opponent selection never changed... EVER !!
and yet, fanboys are running around trying to tell us that wasn't his fault LMAO
I told everyone what was up with Golovkin when it became obvious back in 2014
not about that life
Not all ,but some:
Sugar Ray Leonard: For what he did after he retired in 1982, with the comebacks and all
Floyd Mayweather Jr: Fighting Conor McGregor
Howard Davis Jr: For not taking better control of his career.
Greg Page: Same as Howard, and paid for it with his life
Michael Spinks: Going to Heavyweight and fighting creampuffs, then losing to Tyson, though in retrospect, a fight he never was going to win.
It's hard to 'lose all respect' for any guy who goes into the ring, to be honest. I have and will always have a decent level of respect for anyone who does that.
If the question is 'lose some respect for' then Kovalev is a clear recent example. Basically any guy who has talent etc but stops acting like a professional outside of the ring.

Not taking long to sort out the undisputed fight now that your ****** hero has lost his belt has it. Its quite clear it was him and his owners who was holding that business up all along. Not that we didn't already know that.
Hypekin is not my hero
Bullshltkin and Chicken-Josh...
... lying to their idiot fans since... well, forever

Probably Kovalev. Big fan before the 2nd Ward fight though.
Name on my tongue too, huge fan when he was tearing through everyone from '13 through til Ward II but even then there was some signs. Since then he's just gone from bad to worse.
At his peak dude woulda been a danger to any LHW in history though IMO.
