Any word from Mike Coppinger yet about the subject of this thread? Who among PBC heavyweights, Martin, Kownacki, Ruiz, Arreola, Washington, Breazeale, were offered a fight with Ortiz and turned it down? Were they offered the fight at all, or Haymon is just naturally fond of making showcase fights? We need answers to these simple questions. Media people need to do their job.

Ehhh...Ortiz didn’t want to fight AJ on short notice especially when his payday with wilder for the 2nd fight was gonna be marginally better and he would be fully prepared..can’t really fault him on that...also Mikey garcia has been on record saying that haymon didn’t want him to take the Spence fight but Mikey insisted so haymon obliged...with Leo there’s not arguments he was an intelligent matchmaking ploy by mayweather/haymon, he got paid handsomely for it and honestly I left that fight more impressed with Leo than tank Wrong, they didn't bother to tell Ortiz he had been offered a fight and lied to Eddie Hearn by telling him Ortiz was on vacation with his family when he was actually at the gym.

It's Wilders only decent win. Should those guys fight and beat him then Wilders win won't look as impressive. That's also why he wasn't allowed to fight Joshua when he was offered a fight. That's bull. Ortiz was left in the dark over the offer to face AJ. His management lied and said he was on holiday with his family, his coach confirmed that was nonsense that he was actually in the gym and would of took the fight had they known about it. Their management apologised and claimed there had been miscommunication. Can't prove them wrong but we know that's pure BS. Point being you are full of it. Imagine Martin fights Ortiz and knocks him out. What would Wilder`s record look like? Ortiz is smoke and mirrors, they needed him as some hyped monster to make Wilder`s record look better. Ortiz will never go anywhere near Breazeale, Martin, Ruiz, because all these guys can knock him out. Ruiz can definitely give Ortiz problems but the other two are laughable. Funnily enough they're all Joshua's opponents. Why are so many of you so desperate to sell any of this guys opponents as unbelievably talented? Martin? Seriously? I don't really know where Ortiz stands either but he's beat Jennings in comfortable fashion and even watching against a punching bag like Allen made it abundantly clear why he (and Cuban fighters in general) are rated well.
