Can Crawford bang with Spence and hurt him, or will he have to pop and move? Should Spence try to apply nonstop pressure, or will he box more? How do u see this fight playing out stylistically?
Boxing is like a broken record now. He's an easy fight, so I won't bother fighting him and the fans don't want to see the fight anyway.
Leo Santa Cruz - You don't want to see the Rigo. It's a boring fight, he has a boring style.
GGG - I fight anyone at 154-168. Ward raises his hand. Un-Abel Sucker-chez says, Ward is boring. We can't sell that fight.
Jermall Charlo - Ronnie Shields says, Andrade is nobody for an unification for Jermall, but the other Charlo, Jermell, is collecting belts vs lesser nobodies than Andrade at 154.
Canelo - I fight for pride, not belts, when Andrade had the 154 WBO. Then Canelo turns around collects belts at 160 and dumps belts when he sees Andrade again has the last belt he needs for undisputed.
Spence - He talks strap season but throws that out the window when Crawford moves up and gets one of the belts. Then it turns into Easy Fights Season and 60/40 when he isn't even a cash cow like Joshua and Canelo.
Wilder - AJ is a running Bish. Ops, I forgot my lines when I turned down the money to fight Fury for less money which Fury turns out to be a Cherry Pick gone all wrong, damn near a career ending cherry.
You can't make this stuff up.
How will it play out? Either it won't happen, or as Bradley said, given Crawford is 3 yrs older, smaller and more mobile, they will wait for his legs to go, making it a stationary fight with a Spence who is pushing 154 or 160. It happens how. He might stop Spence or Spence looks like Felix Diaz in the 2nd half of the fight.
It might turn out like Gamboa-Lopez where it doesnt happen at all due to one guy getting their ass beat by the unexpected.
Im not counting danny garcia out against Spence.
if spence isnt shot after the car crash, he stops crawford. you cant go from fighting the likes of opponents crawford has for years and then suddenly step it up to level of spence. its too big a jump and he wont know what do against someone with a bit of skill, a game plan and whos actually come to win rather than just pick up a pay cheque
I agree. That is how it is.

Yet before ggg fought anyone even close to some of Crawford's victims, you had him p4p #1. I wonder what the difference is? Never mind, I know what the difference is...........
Crawford picks Spence apart. It goes the distance but the classier Boxer Crawford takes the majority of rounds quite clearly.
And then loses on the cards on a PBC promoted event. If the fight ever happens that is.
First few rounds are slow, feeling one another out and trying to counter one another. I think second half of the fight the pace picks up and the last three or four rounds are going to be fireworks providing it goes the distance.
Only one way to find out!
I can See Bud Boxing Circles around him but then I think a lot of people underrate Spence Jr Skills just like Mikey Garcia did and he is far more skilled than most think and Mikey find out the hard way. I think what Mikey "THOUGHT HE SEEN" was a Guy that looks Slower and more Flat Footed than he really is and I think Mikey thought like a some people thought that he would be able to out-box him and beat him to the punch. Then he jumped in that ring and seen...damn OK he is far more skilled than I expected and then he looks vs other opponents and I think even he would admit that now.
50/50 Fight I think! I would rather see it happen instead of making some Hypothetical Prediction on what would actually happen! If...When It Happens may the best man win, don't really give a sh^t who wins just as long as they fight and I hope it is a Leonard vs Hearns 1 type of fight back and forth Classic Fight with both fighters earning the respect of all fans after it and asking for them to do it again
Most of Boxing Big Fights just doesn't live up to the hype and falls flat in the ring, we need to see this so called Mega Fights be Classic and something that has Casuals Buzzing about boxing again
Crawford beats Spence easily at this point. I don't think Spence will be the same fighter after that car crash. Needed surgery on his mouth, one of the primary target areas in a boxing match. Spence is done imo. Wouldn't be surprised if he quits in the Garcia fight, Round 10 or 11.
You are so right this conversation needs to occur after the Garcia fight.
Yeah. I think a lot of ppl haven't seen the actual footage of the car crash
They think this was some mild, bull**** car crash like Thurman's
but no, that **** was actually scary. Spence's lucky to be alive and I really find hard to believe something like that won't affect his body permanently in some way. He's not the Wolverine.
But, we shouldn`t forget Thurman. Thurman beat Danny and Porter and lost to Pacquiao in competitive fight. If Thurman is still able to beat somebody top 10, for example Ugas, he is back on track and he is again a roadblock to welterweight supremacy.
Most likely Spence wins by decision. Crawford hardcore fans will argue that Crawford was robbed.
Spence is younger and more experienced at 147. people point out how is Crawford dominant. Well, Spence was also dominant when he fought guys like Herdeen, Algieri, Bundu, Ocampo. He schooled Mikey Garcia, who is p4p level guy. he beat Porter. he beat better version of Brook than Crawford did.
If Spence beats Danny and Crawford, he will be remembered as the best welterweight of this generation.
Pacquiao is not this generation and he won`t even fight these guys. I agree with everything except the generation part. A generation is about 25 years and Spence is only about 10 years younger than Pac and Crawford is only 8 years younger. Pac is still fighting today and was not a pro boxer 25 years ago. Top welterweights of the 1990s would be a generation ago, not Pac. However 41 is very old for a pro boxer and Pac should retire for his future health in my opinion.
I don’t see a reality where Crawford loses this fight, Errol is bigger but that’s it. Crawford is longer, quicker & smarter than Spence. Crawford starts slow (as he’s known to do) then figures him out. He frustrates Errol with the jab & catches him in traps. Crawford power is vastly underrated, he either catches Errol with something sneaky & stops him late or cruises to a UD.
This matchup is getting old... narrative is played out.It might be the best and most even fight that can be made today even though it may never happen. It is also a fight that every boxing fan wants to see very much.
Bud would have a hard time getting to Spence.
This isn’t a faded Khan or Brook. Spence isn’t going to just wait to be hit.
Bud would get off to a slow start and then get desperate late and get caught IMO.
I expect a close hard fought battle with Spence winning a close fight by throwing and landing more punches in more rounds. Either boxer has the skill and power to knock the other out so it could end up a KO win for either guy. They both have never been knocked down so I think it goes the distance. It should be a mixture of skillful boxing and hard punching by both of them. Neither man will run from the other at any time. They are both come forward aggressive boxers and very hard punchers with good defense and good chins.
Imo, Crawford has better footwork, handspeed and is a lot more fluid. Spence may be the *bigger* WW and hits very hard and is smartly economical with his output but Bud catches guys with punches they don't see and I definitely see him getting the better of Errol. As I always say, a good fluid boxer beats a good mechanical boxer.
I totally agree. Spence is heavy handed but he is not a flash puncher like crawford. Crawford catches you at anglesa and is way faster. Spence is a bit mechanical.
